My wife and I are very pleased with the work of KMN Contractors, Inc. Not only was KMN punctual, effective, and professional, their personnel were polite and understanding. On 4.11.15 I had a major leak in my water main service. Water was gushing out all over the side of my yard and the water was running down into the street with great force. Needless to say, my neighbors were not happy about my situation since mud and leaves were being pushed along by the stream of water that was pouring out of my water line. Although I had insurance to cover the repair, the technicians from the insurance company were unable to excavate deep enough to locate the source of my leak. Fortunately for us, they contacted KMN Contractors, Inc. As soon as weather permitted, KMN started their excavation. They had to dig a trench that was 9 feet deep. It was fascinating to watch the excavator remove the lawn sod and dirt so skillfully. The last few feet were dug out by hand so as not to disturb the existing water main pipe that was still holding water. In a matter of a few hours, the work was completed. The leak was repaired with new copper tubing and KMN filled the gaping trench with dirt and stones. They even seeded my lawn in the spots where the lawn had been disturbed. They also sectioned off the pavement area with caution tape to alert neighbors that the pavement would not be walkable until the pavement is repaired after the ground settles in about 30 days. My wife is particularly happy with our water pressure. After the repair, our washer fills up with water in no time, which cuts down on the time it takes to wash clothes.
