Kim called to make sure I was home and the service man (Devon) came within 20 minutes. Took care of fixing the problem. The unit is 23 years old and will eventually need to be replaced. Very pleased that he was able fix the unit. I will definitely use them again. When ready to replace the unit, I will be using Regal. Thank you for the quick response and you made a happy customer.

He came out when they said he would and was on time. He replaced the kitchen faucet which seem to take a while longer than I expected. I showed him the area downstairs where water rained down every time the dishwasher went into rinse mode. He started the dishwasher and he said he couldn't see where the leak was. I said it only happened during the rinse cycle. He said he would have to get someone else out to look at it as the would probably need to open up the wall. I said that I need them back out this week while we were on vacation and that I told them that they would need to put some holes in the wall when I made this appointment. He said he didn't know when they could come out, but they would give me a call. Well it's been about six-weeks now and no one has ever called back. Also, I have since received the invoice for replacing the kitchen faucet, which was about $281 for the install only (Faucet not included in that). Not too mention I now will have to wait until Easter vacation to have the serious leak fixed.

Called Regal to replace a leaking seal on one of our toilet and put in 2 new stoppers for our bathroom sinks. Since we just had a terrific snow storm we told them to take care of those customers without heat first as we have other bathrooms. They were appreciative of that and on Wednesday Kevin Beckwith showed up at the appointed time. I believe he has been out before to install a new kitchen faucet. He worked quickly and efficiently and even found a small leak in a water supply line and a Worn flapper which he fixed. In addition, we appreciate that he checked out the flush on the toilet(s) in the house to see if they were running efficiently. We would like to commend Kevin on his attention to detail and his cleanliness. It shows respect for our property and pride in workmanship. Thank you Regal for your service.

Very well and smoothly. They have done work for us in the past and they have always done a great job for us. They installed our heating and a/c unit in January and then came back in April to make sure that the A/C was charged and ready to go since they couldn't get an accurate reading in the winter.

Our water heater expansion tank gave out and it had a slow leak. During the consultation for the estimate the master plumber explained the problem and even provided a simple suggestion to keep the problem from getting worse while we gathered estimates from other plumbers. They returned the estimate very quickly, and they came in just under the other estimates we got.  What really pushed us to go with them was how helpful they seemed during the consultation. During the installation the plumber was professional and friendly. He got the work done quickly (we had expected it to take a full day, and it was more like half a day).  He told us to call if we had any problems - so far, we haven't had a single problem, and this new water heater is working much better than the old one. We'd definitely call them in the future for other services.

Central air conditioning was installed in my 1857 home. It consists of a 2 room kitchen, parlor, 3 bedrooms, hallway/staircase and 2 bathrooms. The house never had an air system prior to this installation. No duct work existed in the home. Heating system is radiators. Rodney, Justin and their crew worked for 5 days installing the system which has been working trouble free. Rodney was phenomenal...professional and meticulous. After observing his work ethic the first day I had a great deal of faith in his workmanship. The men cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day and worked hard to maintain the historic appearance of my house, minimizing any disfigurement from running duct work and installing vents. All work was neat and clean. The outside system was installed on a size appropriate cement slab in the alley (as opposed to simply being placed on the existing cement sidewalk) and the main system installed in the attic. The basement was not an option as it is low, wet, having a dirt and brick floor and stone walls. The job came in at the estimated cost, which was comparable or below the other 3 estimates I received. I have been happy with the work that was performed and would not hesitate to use Regal in the future.

Regal offered to come out the same day but since the dripping stopped by the time I arrived home 30 minutes later, i told them first thing in the morning would be better.  The plumber arrived on time and was personable and knowledgeable.  I suspected we were going to have a large repair bill, but after he examined the pipes and the drains and determined there were no leaks, he said that the water was going in behind the shower handles which was building up and leaking into the dining room.  He caulked the shower handles with clear silicone caulk and we haven't had any water issues in the past 2 months!  He was onsite for about 20 minutes and only charged us for the service call.  This is about the 3rd time I've used Regal for heating and plumbing issues, and they are top notch every time they come.  They have a good group working for them.
I don't even search Angie's list for heating and plumbing technicians anymore, Regal is always my first call.  Thanks again fellas!

Excellent. I had an estimate from another plumbing firm for $1200-$1500. They wanted to remove the pressure tank and replace the tank and all plumbing. Regal looked at the problem and fixed the broken pipe for under $100. Not only were they more affordable, the technician who performed the work was knowledgeable, professional, and personable. Just a pleasure to work with.

Initially when I contacted Regal at 9am, they stated a plumber would come between 1 and 4. Approximately, 30 minutes later they called and said the plumber was on the way. The problem is I had planned on being home between 1 and 4 not at 10 am. This made them appear disorganized. The plumber that arrived was professional and knowledgeable. We have a complicated set up he knew how to diagnose the problem. (Kudos here because the first plumber I called could only recommend replacing the whole system). The plumber needed to wait on info from suppliers to provide a quite, but the quite was delivered as promised. Once I arranged to set up the service they stated they would try to rush the part and complete the job on a Friday and and at the latest Monday. This did not happen. I called and they kept saying they were waiting on a part. The job was not completed unitil Thursday. This is 6 additional days without hot water. Once the repairs were made the system did return to working order. One other issue I had was the day after the repair their admin staff called and tried to collect payment for the second time, here again this makes their admin staff look bad.
All in all despite the poor support staff, scheduling difficulties and trouble getting the part, I would give them another try because I assessed the plumber as more professional and knowledgeable than the competition in the area.

I had a representative visit my new home to do an estimate on a number of repairs/changes. Some of the estimates seemed pretty high to me, and I ruled out having that work done. The work that I ruled out was moving gas/water lines for a washer/dryer from first floor to basement.
The work that was agreed on totalled about $1000. I set up an appointment a week in advance. I scheduled a day of vacation.
The appointment was for 12:00 pm. At about 1:11 pm, the main office called to say that the plumber was having difficulty at the current job and it would take a few more hours to complete the work. The person attempted to find a workable solution, which we were not able to achieve since I was reluctant to waste another day of vacation for a possible no-show, then call late to let me know.
I realize things happen, but I'm quite sure that they would have known well before 1:11 pm that they weren't going to make a 12:00 pm appointment. I could have salvaged 1/2 that vacation day had I known sooner.
I am disappointed in their performance, but you know my disappointment might have been soothed had they admitted that they messed up and offered me a discount or something. They did waste my time and worse yet, my vacation time.
I won't be using them again, and do not recommend them for their casual attitude toward the value of my time.

UPDATE 6/5/13: I contacted Regal to give them another chance to complete the work. I called a day ahead of time and they were able to accommodate my request for next-day service. The service providers completed the requested work, explained the operation of new items and the work performed, advised on recommended maintenance, etc. I am upgrading their overall grade to B from the original C. I am also upgrading the price to A from the original C, since I got competitive quotes subsequent to my first experience with them that were substantially higher than their original quote. I have upgraded their Quality rating to B from N/A, and punctuality to A from F. I also upgrade their Professionalism rating to A from B. Overall, I am pleased with my experience with Regal, and I appreciate their willingness to complete the work on short notice.

They came at exactly the time that they said they would come. I thought it was a Adam's County co-op problem and stayed on the line with a person from Adam's County explaining what he found and they came out and fixed it for me, so I had a very good experience. Their price was reasonable and he even helped me put a light bulb into a fixture in the basement that I couldn't reach which I thought was great. I noticed that in Hanover they received "A's" when I checked the reviews, but not always in York. This man happened to come from York because he was in Spring Grove and did a super job. He stayed here until it was all taken care of.
