Keep It Simple

Run far away and fast from this company. We had windows installed by them; they are leaking badly. We have called them, they came out several times and still could not figure out what they did wrong. Now we have heard nothing. My floors have been soaked, so now do I not only have to refigure out the windows and walls the rain has destroyed, but also my carpet and floor as well. Save your time, stress, and money and find someone dependable. This case went to the attorney general, and next it is the magistrate office. The carpets are soaked to the point where if you step in that area, the bottom of your shoe is wet. The sealant they put down is cracking. The boards they nailed against the window are soaked to the point they are coming away from the wall and windows. The wall they put in is destroyed; my home was better off before they got to it. I had another contractor in to look at it, and they said they have never seen a job done this horribly.

I hired a contractor. They were supposed to complete the job by June 30. I called them and talked to them several times. I was yelled at, screamed at, and disrespected. They would not follow the contract. They finally finish the job, but not to the specifications. They left me with a handicap ramp that was not completed. They told Code Enforcement they were not coming back. They washed their hands of it, so they left me with a handicap ramp that was not completed. They never called code enforcement. They said they did, so why did they not use the right size boards? poor quality wood. It is warped. They never water pressured it. It is unstable and now I have to pay somebody to tear it down and rebuild another ramp. I would not recommend these to anybody, and if they say they called Code Enforcement, do not believe them. They are not following the regulations of Code Enforcement. They are not doing what they need to do to keep you safe.

Worked with me on last minute modifications requested and did a great job. My new deck is beautiful!

Tim and his crew did a great job! Worked on a Saturday to get our roof replaced quickly for the sale of our home and got it done before the rain came! Replaced a board on our balcony and you can t even tell. Communicated well along the process. Would highly recommend.

I hired Keep it simple to do a facelift on my old wood deck with Trex . It started great but didn't end well. The mighter cuts are kind of embarrassing when people ask what happened here. I paid for all Trex but only got Trex railing. I finished the stairs and trim myself ($400). Tim was on vacation and I think it probably was a huge factor. The crew was nice and clean the work area really well. You get what you pay for.

Tim and his crew arrived at 7:00 AM and completed the re-roofing activities at 3:00 in the afternoon. The work was done in a professional manner and a complete clean up was done when they finished.

They did a great job and in the time I needed. Would recommend them to others.

The owner explained how the project would be done, the material use. Tim answered all my questions concerning even the types of screws to be used to install the fence. There was a small repair to a rain spout that was done for free. The laborers were professional and polite. They cleaned up after the project. There is one more repair to be done, and I look forward to the completed project.

We loved working with Keep It Simple. They were recommended by a friend to do a small repair job. They were great to deal with and reasonably priced. After a recent hail storm, we contacted them again as we knew we needed a new roof. They did job replacing our roof, and came in way under our insurance company estimate. They are very responsive and pleasant to work with.

Our major project was for new siding with additional alterations. Lots of promises, but NO follow-through. It's now seven months, & the work contacted for is still not complete despite being told it would be finished in 5-7 days! I've had a 7-lite door lying on its side in my breezeway for two months still not installed. My new front porch lights don't work; my doorbell isn't hooked up, I have a 15X20 foot area of dead grass in my yard where their equipment was lying for months; my siding was installed in several directions, the framing around a new living room window is still not finished off, & the list goes on. They show up one day, gone for a week. Come back & work another day, gone for a month. The employees work hard when they're here, but Tim's leadership is lousy, & he refuses to return my calls or remedy the situation. Perhaps a lawyer will help me get my work completed. I would NOT recommend this company.

From the first meeting with Tim, I had a good feeling. We have had our recent problems with another contractor and didn’t want to get burnt again. Our project took a little while to get started, based on our schedule, but when we were ready, they got it done ! I had imagined this would be a week long project and it was complete in 3 days, with a rain delay and 100 degree temperatures. Tim and his entire crew are conscientious, clean and look at the project as their own. Extra things were done that were beyond our expectations. We are completely satisfied and have already begun another home project with Tim and the great folks from Keep it Simple.
