We were looking for a Hybrid car and are big fans of Toyota in general. I had a Camry for 10 years and needed to get a new Toyota. We walked in and loved the New Hybrid Prius. I fell in love with the car and the sales person was very helpful and answered all our questions. We signed the deal and bought the car. As soon as we were sold, the environment in the dealership changed. T he manager was roaming around the dealership and never made eye contact, we even smiled and said hello. He was totally oblivious of our presence. Once we got the car keys and were ready to leave he came out to shake out hands and said and quot;congratulationand quot; again without looking into our eyes- he kept looking down the whole time- which was weird- no smile and seemed very impersonal and rude honestly.
Toyota is a brand that sells itself and mostly the dealership doesn't really have to do much, but this was way to rude. The demeanor was odd, but we knew we wanted a Prius and that's what we were there for. So we were excited about our new car and went home with our new baby. Needless to say that our relationship with the dealership was not pleasant second time around either. The service department is rude and has no professional approach what so ever. Customer service is at least a 100 miles away from where the dealership sits, cause they don't have it anywhere within the vicinity. People will never greet first..unless if the customer said hello. We bought a pain protection package for almost $1300 additional to car cost - I can't see a difference and a month after we bought the car, the paint is getting gravel chips ...so I have no idea what that was all about... a total waste of my hard earned money...that they pocketed.....
We just had our first 5000 miles service...at first they were too booked to give us an appointment so they asked us to drop off the car at some point when they open at 8:00 a.m and they will get it done at some point before close (I had a phone call with someone at service department). So we go to the dealership to drop off the car on sat morning at 8:30 a.m. The service department told us that the guys had us on the schedule to com in at 7:30. a.m...which i was not aware of...obviously he did that without my knowledge as I was told by him that they don't open till 8:00 so how's that possible???? Anyways, I didn't ask questions, left the car there for the day and went on with my business. We were shopping around town and decided at 12:30 , that we can stop to check if it was done, before we were home-bound only to find that we had to come back within an hour or so. So we decided we will check the likelihood of the car being done ...we learned at 12:30 that car will be done in 15 mins and they would have given it to us right away, but they were getting ready for a car wash and basic cleaning before handing it over. I was happy as for first time I had heard some promising work and words.
When the car comes our of the service area 30 minutes into our waiting time (which again is not a problem since they said they were cleaning and washing it- we decided to hang out at the lounge and read some magazines thinking they are working on our car)... the car was not washed...not cleaned...and I wondered what they were making us wait for???...a lie...that whole place feels very unwelcoming, very unpleasant and obviously management is horrible and definitely not geared towards customer service!!
If it wasn't for and quot;our love for a priusand quot; and and quot;toyotaand quot; in general, I would not want to go in there again and never buy a car from such arrogant, full of attitude, mismanaged people.

My PA state inspection sticker had expired and I really needed to get my Tacoma inspected quickly. I called Hanover Toyota and a routine appointment was scheduled for about a week from the date I called. I explained that my inspection was overdue and Brandon put me on hold for a few minutes and rearranged the schedule enough for me to get the inspection done immediately. Very helpful and considerate!

In 2005, we bought a used Tacoma. In 2006, we bought a new RAV 4, and in 2007 we bought a new FJ Cruiser. Service has always been great and the salesman are not pushy. In fact, when the salesman who sold us the FJ found out we were metal fans, he threw in a metal CD from his personal collection just for the heck of it. Oil changes have always been done quickly and efficiently, and for a dealership the prices for maintenance/repairs are pretty good.
