Purchased new vehicle 2017 Honda Ridgeline. When I went to have car washed recently told dealership sole and new owner would not HONOR any of items promised when car originally bought. Contacted HONDA USA they told me to bad, promises made for extra items to get sale by owners not HONORED by HONDA USA. Thus far I have no satisfaction but I'm not done with legislative avenues to have all future promises's made by car dealerships to be HONORED unless dealer goes BANKRUPT. Beginning to get REPRESENTATIVES to realize nature of Thief's happening! All's well that ends well!!!!!

I loved this place prior to it being sold out. Came in for every oil change, every bit of maintenance. I paid extra because I trusted the quality and professionalism. Once the dealership changed hands, all prior agreements and contracts from when I purchased my vehicle were null and void. No more car washes. No more free PA State Inspections, where I only had to cover the cost of the sticker, about $3 usually. I wasn't informed of this until after I had my vehicle inspected, and my $3 bill was $64 or so. I was informed by my service rep that the contract I signed upon purchasing the vehicle was voided when the new owners took over, and that it was my duty to check the parameters of my contracts prior to the inspection taking place, not theirs to inform me that the LIFETIME contract had changed. That's illegal! Lou is the worst of all, told my salesperson to get me through the doors, and we'd worry about the rest later. Talk about a pushy salesperson! I had a car picked out. I called ahead to ensure the vehicle was still there, even talked to my salesperson, letting them know that when I passed the lot earlier that same day, that the vehicle had not been present. I was traveling more than an hour to purchase this vehicle; assurance that it was still available was paramount. My salesperson didn't even bother to check the lot or ask anyone, she had only just come on duty for the day. "As far as I know, it's there!" and hung up. The call lasted less than 30 seconds. I proceeded more than an hour's drive time, expending resources I didn't have for a vehicle that was no longer available. I asked twice that she was certain of its availability, she never did look. I was greeted at the door by Lou, who told me the vehicle had just been sold, and decided to inform me that "we have plenty of great new cars available!" I was not interested in a new car. I didn't care to hear about his best and brightest, as he tried to push me in to a 2020 model with upgraded interior, moon roof, and fog lights! His spiel was never ending, my anger growing by the second. I wanted a basic used car, as it is what I could afford. He did not care, he is a professional salesperson, only interested in commission. He informed me that they could find me another vehicle that suited my parameters, given a few months. I proceeded to Apple Honda of York, where I was treated with regard by Paul and Jaleel, who took the time to listen to my wants and needs, and hooked me up with a newer used car and a lower price point than that at Hanover. Jaleel even had vehicles pulled on my behalf, washed, and filled with gas prior to my arrival! Paul took the time to pray with me, too! Something I've never experienced at any dealership prior to this one. They provided me with bottled water and a sympathetic ear in a time when that really meant a lot. I will not return to Hanover again, despite my loyalty and personal referrals for more than a decade. Every time people ask about my experience with replacing my old car in a limited time frame, I pass on the direct line for Jaleel at York, and inform them of the lackluster treatment I received at Hanover.

We were ready to buy a CRV but they would not cooperate, we talked about the color first, and they said would have to charge us $200 because they didn't have it and the we wanted to match our price and they said they couldn't do it. We were not happy.

We went in to match a quote. I don't think we were there a long time.

Price is comparable. When you make an appointment they are usually pretty good at being right on the money on being done, but they will take me home if it is to long.

I thought the price was a little high. The car works fine, maybe I just suffer from sticker shock. I just thought $20 to rotate the tires was high.

The appointment took only an hour and was very affordable, even with the wiper blades needed to pass inspection. The technician was very professional and explained services in detail.

They offer free or low cost state inspection as a way to sell services connected with the inspection and/or completely unrelated to the inspection.. We have caught them recommending recently completed services before, specifically brake and coolant fluid replacement. Prices are too high and they are simply out to boost their bottom line as much as possible. We don't trust them and won't be going back again.

Reliable service for my Hondas. I never really had any problems with their service department. Their cars are overpriced in my opinion though.

There is value is their prices for these services. The inpsection and emissions totalled approx $30. Their oil change is only $20. The only issue is that even with an appt the service takes at least an hour. They take walkins even when they bump someone with an appt. This does not seem to make sense, but the service prices were excellent.

When I took my Pilot in for the state inspection, they missed a burned out headlight that had been out for over a week. They passed my vehicle. My husband replaced that bulb. When I called the service department, I was told that the bulb must have burned out between the time I picked it up and got home (a 10 min drive.) They also replaced the front brakes and resurfaced the rotors and the service adviser told me when he called with the estimate that they always give an estimate before they perform their services. The second time was to program a key--no problem. When I dropped off my vehicle for a 60,000 mile service (3rd visit,) they completed the service without contacting me first--to the tune of $500. They even changed the oil I had just changed 3 weeks ago at the Westminster dealer! (on my way home from work.) I asked if they didn't see the oil reminder light that said 90% or the window cling that said to change oil at 15%. Or how about the fact the oil looked brand new? My service adviser just said it was part of that service and that I didn't request an estimate and that they would take off $50 for the oil change since I had already had it done. I explained what the other service adviser had told me at the first appointment about the estimates--today's adviser just said I didn't check the box for an estimate on the key drop slip. I gave them 3 chances and spent a total of $900. Well, I'm on Angie's list looking for a better garage with good customer service. That's the last money they get from me!

I find them to be quite good. I have a relatively new Honda and I know that I can count on them for well-trained people with the appropriate equipment to diagnose anything that might be wrong. I will certainly use them again.

We have used them in the past for various services. They are nice and extremely professional. They have a really great waiting area.
