I would highly recommend First Choice Waterproofing for any wet basement issues. Chris & Jason began the job on scheduled day & completed it as promised. They were very professional & knew their trade. They were careful of other areas of the basement & thoroughly cleaned up each day. They fully guaranteed their work & it was transferred to the new home owner. I would definitely use them again if needed.

We recently purchased a house with a finished basement and discovered that there was water coming in after big rainstorms and snow melt-off. We were very nervous about the amount of work it might take to fix it and the associated costs. We started researching companies, and if you're reading this you already know how the reviews for contractors who do this kind of work range from great to absolutely terrible. We knew we had to pick a company who was going to do the job right and also be around to stand behind their warranty. I had Chris from First Choice come out for an estimate. Right away I could tell that I was dealing with a reputable person who knew what he was doing and cared about quality and doing the job right. The cost was much less than I was expecting and there were no surprises along the way. The owner of the company was on site the entire time with his crew, and they finished the whole job in two days. They did a really great job and we highly recommend them.

The job was completed on time and at the cost estimated by Chris. The system that First Choice put in place is working perfect and is quieter than I had installed with the new check valve he put in. They cleaned up after themselves and made sure everything was done correctly and they let me see every stage of the waterproofing

Chris and four men did the whole job in a day. They did it well without a problem. 
I asked that a separate A/C condensate line be run in the ditch to the sump, which they did.
They secured the waffle like plastic board to the wall with a plastic cap and screws, something no other installer seems to do.
They also installed clean-out stubs in each corner so that if the drain gets clogged in the future, high pressure water can be injected to clean it out also something no other installer mentioned doing.
There was a small leak in the pump discharge pipe joint that became apparent the next week.
Chris responded and repaired it within an hour of my call.
I highly recommend them.

After 5 other estimates I had First Choice come out.  They trenched out my basement, and installed a water proofing system with sump pump and battery backup.  While it was dusty, took a day longer than expected, but it went well.  My wife is happy that even if the power would go out for 2-3days we'd be safe and dry with the solution that was installed.  Lifetime warranty that is transferable to the new home owner will make reselling my house easier.
