He also at a later date built a bigger closet in my room. We sat down and went over what I wanted done on the hardwood floor. We went over how much it would take after he did the measuring. We went over the cost. This was also for the door. He went to Home Depot and ordered the materials for the door. It was taking him an awful long time. He was giving me a date as to when he would have it done and he did not meet that date. What he was doing was another job. He wanted money from me every week, but he was not getting my work done. I had to say to him I know my materials are back now why are you not doing my work? With my money he was funding the job of another person. In the end, after he put down all my hardwood floor, in the little hallway where you go up the stairs, he wanted more money and said it was not included. But he had already bought the hardwood floor to put that down so he knew very well that was included so I had to just fire him rather than give him more money because I had already paid him what he said to do the job. I had to hire another person to do the stairs and that little piece that you walk upon. The work he did was good but he just was not working on my job. I guess the price was okay because I settled for it. I was satisfied with the price until he told me the steps in hallway part were not included.
