We choose CS Smith builders because several people we knew had used this builder and been very pleased.  Chris Smith just completed a five-room remodel of our basement.  He was very professional.  He was dead-on with the the estimate he gave us at the beginning of the job.  He involved us in all decisions along the way and suggested ways to accomplish our design an still remain within our budget.  He used quality materials.  When a material ordered did not meet hs standards, he refused to accept it and had it replaced by the originating company at no cost to us.  He oversaw all aspects of the project using excellent subcontractors.  Chris arrived at 8:30 every morning and didn't leave unhtil 5 in the afternoon.  The job site was always clean at the end of the day.  Even though we added several projects to our original design, Chris finished the job two weeks ahead of schedule.  It was a delight working with him and we would highly recommend his company to others.
