I hired them because they're a local company and came highly recommended by several friends. The technicians worked quickly and efficiently, arrived on time, and did a good job of demonstrating how the system works. They also have a friendly office staff, and their monitoring company has been very responsive thus far.

The wiring box turned out to be so small that it can't be closed. We requested a different box and were told that was the box we got...it was 'perfectly adequate' and 'what our wiring plan required'. We continued to fight the battle, but were told nothing could or would be done. We let that one go.
The central vac beater-bar handle worked for about 6-months (it was still under warrenty). I called the service department who said it was clogged because I hadn't used the sysemt properly. I told them the vacuum suction was fine...it was the beater bar handle that didn't work. They attempted to clear a clog that wasnt there, then decided it may be a short in the vacuum handle. They tightned some wires in the handle and said it was fixed. A month later, the same issue...the vac handle was not working properly. They came back again and again said it was clogged, so they attemted to clear the system...no clog. They agreed to look into replacing my handle and said they would be back in touch with me. After months of phone calls attempting to get my new vac handle I was finally told they no longer sell the Nu-tone brand so it would not be possible to replace it. Once again they offered to try a repair on my original handle. The service team came to the house, wanted to cut a hole in my wall to figure out what the problem may be and then decided (again!) it was a short in the handle. They (once again) tightened some wires and attempted to charge me a service fee because the system was "No longer under the original warrently". I told them they owed me a working system as it was under warrenty when the problem started and they had never fullfiled the repair or replacement. I wrote a letter to the owner of the company explaining my problem and he had his assistant call me and ask..."What is it that you want us to do?". My answer was simple...give me a working vacuum handle. I was then told that 'would not happen' but I was welcome to purchase the new line that they were now carrying.
In short, this company is only in business because they are the only game in town and they work for the largest builder in town. The service is never performed without a hassle or a service call fee. They don't stand behind their work or their product and they will give every excuse they can to not fulfill a warranted item.
By the way, I finally took my vacuum handle to a small repair shop in town and was told that it was a factory defect and Advantage Secuirty should have replaced if from the very beginning. I still have no working handle because I refuse to pay for a new one.

Very happy with the results. I had a few issues that needed to be worked out with the system and they were very responsive and helpful. Before hiring Advantage I spoke to the big companies you see on TV and I felt that they were more like salesmen than security people. Very happy with the system and ongoing service.

Admin staff is unprofessional and unwilling to work with customers. When I had a wireless transmitter die 1 year later they told me they would come out to fix it for $80 service charge plus $50 for work (the tranismitter only cost me $50 brand new). Furthermore after learning what the issue was, the transponder only needed a new $8 battery that I could have changed myself. They are horrible and would avoid them at all costs.
