MR ROOTER PLUMBING

They had a grove city number in the phone book but apparently it just forwards the calls to a different center and they sent out someone from a different city. I found it confusing because I would have preferred someone locally. The pipe that comes out of the basement to the washing machine was broken and spraying water...I couldn't tell if it was coming from the pipe or the valve. I saw Mr. Rooter in the phone book, called them and clear up until the man came out to my home I thought they were a local company. They came out in about an hour. Not because of prior appointments but because of driving. It was a complicated job. He was carrying a big book- for prices. He was very nice and he determined in a few minutes what the problem was, it was the pipe and not the valve. He said he would have to take a little piece of the wall to get to the pipe. Turned out he didn't have the piece he needed to make the repairs. He had to go to a local plumbing store to get the piece. I got about 3 quotes. The first price was 300 which I thought was a little high then the price jumped to 700 and we ended up settling on 500, because he had to take the piece from the wall. He fixed it very quickly. The invoice was not broken down so I actually still don't know if they charged me to drive that long distance.
