Excellent. I have waited 30 years to have steps put in to my front door. Nathan came up with a design that fit perfectly with our log home. I couldn't be happier with the way it turned out.

I was out of town when Nathan and his crew did the work. I came home to a perfectly groomed front yard. Nathan has a degree in horticulture and is very knowledgeable about all of my plants. He knows how to prune them correctly, what plants need sun and what can stand shade, etc. I trust him to take care of whatever needs attention. He is almost OCD about making sure everything is taken care of and the yard is left in perfect condition with every leaf and weed removed. I will use him again for fall clean-up and again next spring. My yard never looked so good!

They did a nice job and removed all of the debris. Timely, polite workers. I would use them again.

Sent provider dates and did not hear back.  Came home one day and the work was just done.  It was AWESOME.  They cleared the entire overgrown area and did a fantastic job.  Totally cleaned up after themselves as well.

He mowed the lawn, the top field, the east field, the verge of the driveway, and the parking area - rough guess almost an acre total. Can you say Energizer Bunny? Nathan just keeps going until it's done. (The west field will have to wait until he can brush-hog it first; some of the stuff in there is big enough to hurt a mower.) Then he weed-whacked around all the edges. Then we discussed the future landscaping and maintenance work to be done. He'll be back soon to do some planting for me. I am pleased and impressed with the work.

Nathan is very knowledgeable about plants.  I am the complete opposite so I found Nathan to be a great help in providing advice on what to do and not to do with my plant beds.  We had the front of the house completely re-landscaped 7 or 8 years ago by a large and very reputable landscaping company at considerable expense.  I had repeatedly expressed to their designer that because we were nearing retirement age we wanted something easy to care for and requiring the minimum amount of maintenance.  That is definitely NOT what we got.  The yard looked great for a few years and my husband was able to take care of it.  However my husband passed away three years ago and I am unable to take care of the yard.  And all of the plantings had gotten too big and too crowded and just didn't look good.  Nathan was able to sort out everything and, using my existing plants, thin the plants, remove some that were just too big, prune everything and make the yard look wonderful.  Best of all it requires no effort on my part other than occasionally watering.  Nathan was mindful of my budget and suggested ways I could save some money.  He offered to stop by when he's next in the area to remove some low hanging branches from a tree at no charge.  He is a very pleasant and professional young man and his crew were great too.  I will continue to use Nathan's company going forward and have no hesitation in referring him to others.

Nathan came with 3 yards of mulch to spread.  He had difficulty getting confirmation from Angies list that I had paid for this service.  Between phone  calls by myself and Nathan to Angies list we got the error corrected, and he came and completed the job today. He was originally going to come in the morning, but the confusion from Angies list to confirm that I paid delayed his departure. Nathan and his helper placed premium triple shredded mulch in my flower beds and transformed their appearance to one of a beautifully landscaped yard.

Nathan did a great job taking his time and ensuring all was well and asking questions to make sure all of our expectations were met. Would recommend or any job - very clean worksite he left our house better and cleaner then when he arrived. Can't go wrong purchasing the great deal or having any job performed.

He was very aware of cost, and he tried to save cost whenever he could.

A crew of 3 came to work for almost 2 hours, which was what it was to be instead of 4 hours if Nathan came alone.  Nathan has a clear vision of what he wants to accomplish; he moves quickly  through things. His crew was put to task by him, but seemed somewhat unskilled. While leaf blowing , a lot of dirt and mulch found its way to the front porch and was left there! also, one of the crew was assigned to clean a bed of flowering shrubs--- everything was scalped, including a hydrangea and it's buds! They tried, and were willing, but should have been watched constantly.  Nathan, who is knowledgeable, should have done more complicated jobs himself.  As it was, he blew leaves in the backyard. We might use Nathan again at some future time, but under close supervision. He is personally very pleasant, and seems anxious to please; we liked him, and wish him well.

Nate was fantastic! He came about an hour after we called to give us an estimate. He was able to provide references of his work and made an effort to fit our very large yard into his schedule. The price he quoted was extremely fair, the work was completed on time and he didn't charge us a dime more than quoted. We will definitely be using his services again!

He did a great job.  He really went the extra mile.  He came out to clean up my leaves.  I asked if he could also do my hedges, but he said he didn't have the equipment.  He was going to use mine but they didn't work.  He said he would stop by again and do it, free of charge!  My yard has never looked this clean!

Nathan acknowledge receipt of the deal in a reasonable time period. He called as I requested and we discussed the work needed. He provided a tentative time frame for the work to be done. He called to schedule and made sure the time was convenient and he arrived promptly. He completed the work as I requested.

Let me say up front that we did not know of this guy until Angie's List, so this is an objective review.

It went very well.  I feel bad about the negatives he got, because in our case, he told us up front of his wedding Oct. 19th, and that he was booked up until after that, BUT he did come over today, the 21st, first thing in the a.m. and called first to let us know he was on his way.  We could have cancelled if that was not OK, but it is landscape work, not anything urgent.  He never said the deal would not be honored.  He did say that there had been a glitch in the ad on Angie's, in that it incorrectly listed shrub removal, but he did end up doing that for us nevertheless.
We  did get a voice mailbox full message a couple of times too.  I think that this is not that surprising the week or 2 before a person's wedding, if you have ever had a wedding.  He was very busy, and we understood that.  As for the job, he came over in advance and reviewed the job with us, walked around the yard and offered some advice, and devised a work plan.  
The day of the job he came and reviewed that plan with my husband and then got to work.  When finished, he asked me to walk with him through the yard and give my approval before I paid.  I did this, and everything looked really good.   I worried that there would have been quite a mess from all the clippings but he cleaned it all up and the house looks great now.  We kept a few dying shrubs I could not bear to part with, and I intend to go after them with Miracle Grow and if they are no better in the spring they will be changed, and I will have Nathan Stempfer do it!
I am glad we excercised a bit of patience and waited for him as he did a great job for an unbeatable price.  THANK YOU NATHAN!

I have been very dissatisfied with this company. I had to contact them to have them come do the work. After speaking with the company, he made it sound like he was not willing to do the job. He told me to just trim the bushes would be an additional charge. When trying to call his phone, the inbox is full and I cannot even leave a message. I then emailed him and it has been about week since I have heard any response from this company.

We called looking for a temporary lawn maintenance service until July 1st.  After the lawn maintenance service had been completed, we were satisfied with the the finished product and, therefore, interested in having lawn maintenance services performed for an extended period of time - at least through the end of August. 

Even though the summer lawn maintenance season ends in October and sometimes in November, we will need to end the lawn maintenance early in order to help budget for other outdoor landscaping projects that are a priority and that we are interested in having Nathan estimate and perform:

*edging and rocks placed around the pool
*small pool deck

We look forward to working with Nathan, who we believe will perform quality work at a fair price.
