D-Bug Inc Waterproofing

The salesman recommended a surface drain in the back yard to keep water from comming into the house. They dug with shovels but did not follow a chalk line resulting in an unbelievable jagged mess filled with stone. I cannot cover it so I have to look at this mess everytime I want to go out into my back yard or patio. Not to mention how difficult it is going to make lawn mowing. Then they connected and buried a rainconductor hose going down the side of the house to the front yard. Heaped rock and clay and dirt, literally heaped! Threw grass seed and straw on top and called it a day. Called managment and was told by a supervisor that this is how they do it, "we don't did straight lines" our yard looks like a war zone. Customer service does not exist, once they have your money you are history.

We needed to have a french drain installed around the back of our house to prevent water damage to the foundation. We paid over $6,000 and it DOESN'T WORK! When we called and complained, we were told that it has just been rainy. Well, this is why we had it installed in the first place! Didn't offer to come and inspect to see if there was anything wrong. Doesn't even help a little. Our yard still a marsh and we are out $6,000! ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

They did the whole perimeter of my basement. Dug down into the floor several feet and put a french drain and two pumps in the  corners. The drain is connected to two french drain pipes outside that were put in my yard. Very quick work with crew of about 8-9 men doing the work from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Very courteous. I thought they would actually do more to the whole floor service after work was done to give it a finished look; especially for the price. Cleaned up after themselves very well. Kept the rest of the house clean and free of dust by putting up plastic. I will determine come spring and summer or after a heavy snow fall to make sure water is not coming into the basement but for now it is very dry and it has made a difference already on the freshness of the basement. They sprayed walls and floor to make sure if any mold was in place that has been removed or prevented.

The crew showed up on time and in force.  They had the drains and everything else installed in two days.  They even adjusted the placement of the sump pump at my request at the last minute.  They crew was courteous and good natured.  They cleaned up all of the rumble and took everything with them.  The cellar wall took two days as well.  and again the crew cleaned up after themselves.  They made the whole ordeal as painless as having your cellar jack hammered apart can be.  A few months later when I was having issues with the garage drain, I called them and they assisted no questions asked.

They come out here quarterly. Whenever we need them we just call them and they come out and take care of everything for us. They are continuing to give us good service. We pay them per visit and it depends upon what I need done. He is always polite and always on time. If like something comes up that I need him for, it is not a big deal as they are very flexible. Whatever I need, he can usually take care of. He answers my questions; he is very knowledgeable.

We bought the house and there was a water problem and that's when they came to do the work. I liked the way they explained everything in detail. They made sure everything was clean. They took their time to make sure I understood everything. I even called them back for other little things because they really are knowledgeable and know what they are talking about. If they don't handle the problem I am calling about they will recommend someone and if they do handle it they come right away.

They came right away, did the work and they were gone. It was just a matter of time to make sure what they did. They didn't waste any time. He was better than average.

They do retaining walls. They also do bug control. The owner, Nick, came to me. He was on the Sunday paper to answer questions about waterproofing. He is the most honest guy with the best price. He has been out here, so he knows my house. It is a family-run business. I wanted him to do stairs for me, but he said he was not good at that and that it would be a waste of money and it was really honest of him.

They always arrive on time, get right to work, spraying both inside and out. They are clean and efficient, leaving no mess behind. Always accommodating if you point out an area of particular concern like where you might have observed ant activity. Once they traced the source back to our garage ceiling. When the technician pulled off the insulation he was covered with hundreds of ants falling from thye ceiling. He just brushed them off and continued his work without complaint. We had to replace the roof and ventilate it, but if he hadn't made this discovery, the roof may have eventually collapsed.

I am truly impressed by D-bug. Nick the owner came out to give me an estimate that I felt was a fair price, esp. after doing my own online homework. No gimmicks, no extra add-ons, no exploiting the situation. Another company (not local) gave me a qoute of $31,000 and when I talked to Nick about this price difference he went back to my home to do another inspection to make sure he didn't miss anything (this was after I signed a contract with him, so he really did'nt have to do that, he had my business already). He called me back and said there was nothing wrong with my home and I didn't need anything else beside what he originally qouted but he would put steel beams if I wanted, but pressed that it was not necessary. He went on to say he sees so many people taking advantage of in his industry.
D-bug scheduled to have my job completed in one day. I though well they will have to work from sun up to sun down to get all of that done. Nope. They showed up at 7am with a crew of 9! They had 4 jack hammers going at once to break up concrete. I left around 3pm, but they were pretty close to wrapping things up. D-bug's crew were professional and hard workers. Rodney the crew manager answered all my questions and explained the whole process. I've dealt with contractors before on home improvement, but his crew takes the cake. Very impressed by my whole experience.
If you must get quotes from other companies, go ahead, but make sure they are local. Or you can just call D-bug, I trulyrecommend his guys.
