Initially, they did a decent job but it took them 3 months to schedule it. We had to do all the painting ourselves. They chose the cabinet brand. The finish came off in spots within a month. Three years later many cabinet shelves are broken and the floor grout is almost gone. I have called multiple times about the issues and they never call back.

We ordered cabinets from Lowe's and the contractor that was remodeling our kitchen was supposed to install them. Something happened and we had to find someone else to install the cabinets. Lowe's would not help us because they said we had to have made those arrangements before ordering the cabinets and they wouldn't make an exception. We called six
installers and everyone was booked for months. A friend told me about American Home Master: Chris Walker and Dave Graft out of Greensburg, PA. I called them that same day (Saturday) and left a message. Chris called me Monday and said they had a hole in their schedule and could fit me in. They came the next day and they are spectacular!
They are so nice and friendly they are a delight to have in your home. They are very meticulous and made sure to get everything as perfect as possible. My father is a woodworker and I am used to a very high standard when it comes to
wood and furniture. Chris and Dave lived up to that standard - they are both excellent craftsmen.
Since it was so fast I had to describe the job over the phone and I forgot some details but they made it work. They also helped us avoid problems by openly communicating with us throughout the three day process. For instance, based on the suggestion of the Lowe's designer we bought three individual pieces of trim to put together to make a crown molding. Dave and Chris explained an alternate way to arrange the pieces and it looks even better than what I saw in the show room.
A significant number of my cabinets from Lowe's came with defects in the wood and/or stain. Chris and Dave were very patient as I sorted through all those replacement boxes and did a great job of changing out replacement doors. They also pay a lot of attention to details and don?t rush. As a result, together we were able to arrange the cabinets in a way that hid the defects on the items Shenandoah didn't replace.
I also asked them to cut through the cabinet above the stove to accommodate a vented range hood. This was something else the contractor was supposed to do and I hadn't solved the problem as to how to get it done. Even though they only had a small hole in their schedule they made time to do that job for me too and they charged us a very reasonable price to do it.
Dave and Chris also went above and beyond the work they were doing and helped me communicate information to the cabinet top people, which helped us avoid a couple of potential problems.
I can honestly say that I am now happy that things did not work out with our original contractor so that I ended up meeting these wonderful men. My only regret is that I did not know about them when I began this project because I definitely would have had them do everything and would have avoided a lot of problems, aggravation, and cost.
I can say without hesitation that if you are planning ANY sort of home remodel talk to Dave and Chris!
Update: Chris and Dave ran out of time and were not able to install the sliding shelves in my kitchen Island cabinets. They said it was easy to do. I've tried several times and it is not easy for someone who doesn't do this professionally, the instructions were useless. I called and left a voice mail asking Chris/Dave if they could tell me over the phone how to do this. I never heard back from them. My sister and I went to Lowe's where I bought the cabinets, crawled around in the display model until we figured out how the pieces go together and then went home and did it. I'm disappointed they never called me back but I would still recommend them.

Dave and Chris were really great to work with. Before I chose them, I had three bids and their was the best by far, so we gave them the job and were very pleased with their work in every way. They showed up everyday until the job was completed to our satisfaction.
