Our radon fan started making a noise that resonated throughout our home, setting our teeth on edge. We had no idea who to call or what to do about it, so we checked the pole and found what we thought might be a phone number (it was so old, it didn't even have an area code!) On a hunch, we called it, and it was STILL the number for Accurate Radon Control (same since it was installed in 1997!) How many businesses could say THAT? We couldn't find any other info about our fan, so the kind woman who answered accepted texted pictures of the fan, quoted a price instantly, and said they'd be out in a few weeks to replace it. Unfortunately for us, it was Christmas time, so we figured we'd have to wait even longer. Lo and behold, on the 26th, she called us back and asked if Dave could come out immediately to replace the fan. He was there in 15 minutes, and he had our new (quiet!) fan installed and working in the blink of an eye. We feel so lucky to have found an established company with a proven track record and an honest, efficient, and pleasant staff. Based on our recommendation, my parents will even be hiring Dave in the near future to install a radon system in their home. We wouldn't recommend anyone else for it!

I contacted Dave, and he came out a few days before to look at the house.  Gave me an estimate for the work.  On the day of the job, he arrived and went straight to work.  He answered all question I had while he was doing his work.  When he was completed, he explained all the work he did (in detail), and then gave me a test kit to verify the mitigation was successful.  Ran the test, and the result went from greater than 105 to less than 1.

We hired Accurate Radon Control to install a radon remediation system. We had a channel drain (floating slab) which meant the basement air was open to the footer. We interviewed a number of contractors who were not going to seal this opening. That did not meet the recommended guidelines for radon remediation. Accurate installed the system and correctly sealed the opening.

The owner of this company, Dave, had originally provided a quote for remediation to our seller's realtor. We sought other quotes, encountered a scam artist from one named Roger Priest, but was fortunate to be able to use the services of Dave at Accurate Radon. He was professional, knowledgeable and appropriately trained, and he did not at all take advantage of us as new home owners needing immediate remediation. I would 100% recommend him and use his services again.
