They were just ok. Two people came out to do the work, where I really believe one worker would have been fine. I felt like I had to watch them quite a bit to make sure they were cleaning efficiently.

They showed up when they said they would show up. They were okay.

I have had good luck with them and actually think they are pretty good. They are punctual and come when they say they are coming. They are always scheduled and call ahead of time. Anytime I ask them to do something special, like the blinds or window sills, they will do it. They charge by the size of house. There normally are two or three cleaners and they are here about three-quarters of an hour.

We were very satisfied. As busy professionals, we are learning to value our time. This was money well spent. We would have been happy to spend more! We spent only $380 for 4 to 5 hours thanks to the first time special we received.
The maids from Merry Maids were very professional and took their time to thoroughly clean and polish all the surfaces. We pay close attention to details and so did they. We really enjoyed the service. We have not met the owners but have spoken to the wife over the phone. They clearly love what they do and focus on quality. It's clearly a tough business to be in when most people (including us) want value for service but we don't want to sacrifice good quality.
I would recommend them to anyone in the area looking for a maid service.

Overall we were displeased with the service. Cleaning was ok at best, and the office was very inflexible in terms of changing day/date to clean. Seemed as though they started out strong and as time went on our house was less and less clean. Additionally, they didn't really straighten up. If there was a dirty coffee cup in the bathroom, they would clean around it and leave it there. Price was a bit high as compared to individuals in the past. We had Merry Maids for nearly 10 months when we terminated the service, and when I called to cancel the service they never called back to ask why.

They come out every couple of weeks. Some of the workers would come in and be here once and never again. There was always a regular person, and I never had an issue with them. With the new people, I had some jewelry stolen. Apart from that, I was happy with them. This has happened since the more recent owners took over. Before the new owners took over, I was having more done, for less money. When the new owner came out, he said that it was too much work for the money. He took out one bedroom and one bath, and raised the price. I have not been happy with them. I have been using this service for the past 15 to 20 years. The main people I have been very happy with. It is the secondary people that I have not been happy with.

They cleaned very well and thoroughly. Although we have since found a private person who cleans less expensively, I would absolutely have them come for thorough, deep cleaning on a periodic basis.

Very professional. The owner came out and gave a very thorough estimate after doing a walk-through of the house. We wanted a full house cleaning and two cleaners arrived early (which was great for me since I had an appointment to keep after they were finished) and stayed a full four hours. Expensive, but no complaints on the work performed. The price is my only complaint.

They were very good. The experience with them was fine. It was good. I will use them again in the future.

I had previously submitted an unfavorable report. Over many years Merry Maids has been servicing my various homes. Lately--during the past several years I had had problems with some sloppy work. I would call the office and was treated well. They responded well and for a while things would be OK. I would leave a note (if I wasn't going to be home) and usually it was followed, but not always.
This last time---I came home at the end of the day and could see clearly that the kitchen had barely been touched. Before I made dinner I felt I wanted to clean the range top etc. There were some other things. My distress was based on the idea that for basic cleaning I shouldn't have to leave a note or call the office.
However, subsequently, after talking to Karen and having her come out with the cleaners to be sure they knew what they should do I feel I can upgrade what I wrote. I do this based on their quick response and the hope that the actual cleaners will remember what they should do.

They came out and gave us an estimate before they started. They quoted a price that would be the bi-weekly cost for the first contracted year. We agreed on a schedule, and they have been coming ever since. We leave a check on the kitchen table for them every two weeks.
