The representative we very professional and stated exactly what services the coupon would cover. Liberty provide the service and left the promises as they found them.

I have already completed this form (last year) so at this time I cannot remember all the details - just that it went well!

No problems, came on time performed work as quoted and cleaned up all debris.

We used them throughout the Spring, Summer and Fall. They came regularly and did a great job on our lawn.

I had to reach out to them as there was no contact after the purchase on Angie's list. I had him out the week of 7/25/12 and had the the contract within a few days for the additional work. Said that the Angies List work would only be a half day and he would like to get atdditional work for the crew to come out. They still have not applied my Angie's List discount even though I told him when he asked how I found out about them, had wrote the certificate number on the original contract, and deducted the amount from the total for the deal. I just got a bill in the mail for $400+ dollars and now will have to reach out to them to get it resolved. This was supposed to be easy. When they started in October the crew proceeded to park the truck on the lawn and left huge ruts in the lawn. They have partially filled them in and seeded so we will wait to see what it looks like in the spring.

The tree guys arrived promptly and toured the site and work to be done with the supervisor. I also had a discussion about needing to keep the gates to our yard closed because of our three dogs who have access to the yard through a "doggie door." The guys were more than willing to acquiesce to our request and also came in to meet the dogs. They got right to work, worked very diligently and efficiently. They cleaned up everything, and left us a bit of the cut wood for use in our fireplace. They kindly stacked what they left us. They were very easy to work with. I would definitely use them again.

The representative was very professional and pleasant. I was pleased with the treatment I received and the level of responsiveness. My only issue was the price. Before purchasing the coupon I did some research on how much I might spend for the job. The estimates I gathered were between $275.00-$450.00. I was expecting to pay $600.00 if I wanted the tree removed and the stump grinded. I was thrilled when I saw the coupon for $400.00 for the cost of $200.00. I bought it right away. When the rep came to see the tree, I was quoted $650.00 to cut the remainder of tree's overgrown limbs. The tree had already been butchered by the city on the street side, so only one side remained. It literally was a half of tree at the top. I was surprised that my quote was so high, but I needed to proceed since I had already purchased the coupon. I considered using the money for light landscaping in front of my city rowhome, but that quote was $1500.00 for an arrangement that was described as "something nice". The tree was cut back on the remaining side, but I do feel it was a lot to pay for what I needed. Since then, I have gotten estimates from other tree services and their prices have been much lower. I won't buy another deal again, without getting that specific company to give me their quote in advance.

I have used them before and I like the job that is done in general. This time we had a scheduling issue and they did not show up on the date that was originally scheduled. I chalk it up to miscommunication, not ill will. They immediately rescheduled when I complained, and did a professional job once more. My only complaint would be that all their services are very expensive. I feel like they are taking advantage of their dominance in the Philly market.

Owner or manager showed up with his workers. Left after workers started work. Some of the work requested was not done. He did not return to see if work was completed properly.

I was surprised how responsive the company owner was contacting us shortly after we purchased the Big Deal. Usualy it is the other way around and I need to make the first call. He was very eager to come out and get the job done. My only hesitation with the company is that the people who actually performed the trimming barely spoke English and the owner -who provided the estimate and knew what needed to be done- was not present to direct them. The folks arrived and started to work right away, did not even ring the bell to let us know they were there. They were very nice and eager to do a good job but they were certainly not trained arborists. I extensively garden myself and I was surprised the way they pruned the tree limbs leaving stubs behind. They probably did this with good intention (removing as little live limbs as it was absolutely necessary) but the trees don't look too nice now. I would recommend the company if you need whole trees to be removed but I'd be hesitant to ask them to do more sofisticated job.

We purchased the "Big Deal" from Angie's List for $400 worth of services for $200. We have a few large trees in our backyard that we were hoping could be pruned / cut back. Unfortunately when the guy from Liberty came to take a look and give us an estimate for the service, it was over $800. It turns out that his guys are work in teams of at least two, and are paid $100/hour, so effectively all I had purchased was 2 hours worth of work - not nearly enough time for his guys to do work on large trees. He was nice enough to explain that he was not aware of how Angie's List had promoted the deal, and that he would have his guys do as much as they could to give us the most service for what we had paid, but unfortunately it was not at all was I thought I was paying for. I don't blame Liberty, and I suppose I would use them again since they did a good job for what they did and didn't leave a mess behind, but beware these deals without fully understanding exactly what your money is buying you.

I was hoping to get the deal where this company would give me an estimate on some work I needed done. They gave me a quote for more work than what I wanted which was more than 3 times the amount I intended to spend. In the long run, I used another contractor, we had used in the past, not from Angie's List, and got a better price, faster response and better service. I'm out at last $200 and couldn't not be more displeased with these outcomes.

They were responsive to our call to set up service. We had to reschedule a few times due to inclement weather, but they kept in touch and found a time that worked. Happy to say, that during the recent hurricane, we had no damage from falling limbs or trees!

I bought a "Big Deal" - $99 for $200 of Liberty Tree and Landscape Management Bucks on June 23, 2012. The company called to follow up within a few days and a customer representative came to look at the property and gave an estimate for the work I described after speaking on the phone about the scope of work intended. The estimate was given and I elected to only perform $200-worth of work since that was what was permitted by my budget. The work was scheduled and was performed well. The trees and shrubs were trimmed back. weeds and undergrowth removed. Excellent quality work and grounds were swept and left very neat. I would do business with them again.

He came out and gave an estimate on what I wanted done. It was far too expensive compared to other bids I received. I decided to use another company.

It was hard to set up an appointment, as the arborist apparently takes off in the winter months. Not a big deal, but even after he got back it was a little hard to track him down. The work went well. It was not a huge job -- most of the trees were tiny saplings -- and I thought the price was a little high, especially since I had already paid for a coupon. The arborist said he would come back to apply an herbicide to the stumps, but he didn't tell me when he did. I had to call weeks later to make sure he had been there. I don't mean to be h****** them, as they seem quite competent, but in the future I'll probably call someone else.

I bought the big deal and did not contact the company. They eventually called me and discussed what it was I wanted done. I was told someone would come by to look at the property and leave me an estimate. They did come when I was not home and included the many things they felt should be done in addition the items I had requested. The price was out of my range and I called and discussed it. I was told that financing was available and that there were many different ways to have the work done. I could have a 2 man crew which would cost me a lot less than the estimate. At the time of this conversation, super storm sandy was coming and we knew that they would be busy if it hit the way the news was forecasting. Obviously, I did not try to contact them again for several weeks after the storm realizing they were helping those who really needed it. I came home from work one day to a message that the crew was there working and everything was done. I was shocked at how great my property looks. My one concern is that I still do not have a bill and did not get to negotiate the amount of men in the crew to cost me less money. I can tell you that they did more than was requested and my yard looks great. I would highly recommend this company!

Mike's staff came exactly on time and cut down the tree branch by branch, taking what seemed like a minimal amount of time, cleaned up the deck, and also left no waste on my neighbor's side of the fence. They then carried everything out through my house, leaving no mess at all. Mike gave me some good suggestions of what I might plant to replace the plum tree. The homeowner's association was so pleased they have hired Liberty to work on the trees in our courtyard.

They we prompt, clean, respective of people in the house at the time. They went to do their work and left, like how it should be done, no complaints here.

When Liberty came back to do the work, there was no fuss about the other contractor done the work--big plus for them in my book! They finished the work on my property and sent me a bill. All the trees, branches and debris was cleaned up. They did a FINE job. A sub-contractor will come and remove the large stumps and spreading root system at a later date--I can hardly wait.

Since it was a work intensive job which would take a full day, there was a bit of a wait, 2-3 days before the job could be started. The men came and worked very professionally and dilligently. Several trucks were in use to bring equipment and to take away branches and other debris. A supervisor would stop by to check on the progress of the job. An excellent job and clean up were done by the end of the work day. The only part of the job that could not be completed that day was the staking of the apple tree which was done within a week. We have continued to use Liberty for lawn care which has been regularly carried out every 7-10 days. We are very happy with the service thus far.

A representative from Liberty came to my property to analyze the work to be completed. He was confident with a hint of arrogance but the gentlemen new his trade. I thought the work completed was done in a professional manner. I thought the trees would have been thinned out a little more but I concede to the experts. The one thing they said they would do but did not was remove two tree stumps that are in my yard. My fault though as I did not call them to come back and complete the task. All in all, I would have them come back.

Went well. Very nice gentleman came to look over trees and shrubs and made recommendations for treatment. Treated my cherry trees and pruned my Japanese Maple and my Dawn redwood trees.

I purchased the coupon deal from Angie's List. A day or so later, I received a call from Liberty Tree asking how they could be of service to me. I told them about the concern I had with the trees in my backyard. We setup an appointment in the evening after work. Their representative was on time and very knowledgeable. He inspected the trees, made some suggestions for the trees that should be pruned or cut down, and eased my mind about those that did not. He gave me an estimate for the work and we setup a date for the work to be done. The crew showed up on the date on time. They did a great job not only with cutting down and pruning the trees (one very high one!) but their job wasn't straightforward. They had to parallel park on my narrow, busy city street and they did so beautifully. They had to navigate the narrow alley with all their equipment and the tree debris and they did so beautifully. They cleaned up all the debris, mulched in and carted it away. They did all of this quickly and professionally. I was billed a month later for the work. Overall, a professional company that would not hesitate to work with again. Thank you!
