The contractors work was excellent. That is not only the opinion shared by the owners, but since my house sits on a corner lot many neighbors commented on the work while in progress and the final result.  Comments consistently were about the solid construction, beautiful work, and the great job that was done.  Building the addition, especially bathroom with shower, within the constraints of the existing structure (roof, porch foundation, concrete pad, exterior french doors, etc.) made the job far more challenging than a new addition built from scratch would have been. Among other old house complications window sizes and locations required precision since the bathroom/den wall intersected between windows and determined shower width etc.  Measurements were extremely tight with little or no margin for error.  The contractor worked especially well with the Architect and homeowner in presenting alternatives to overcome construction issues as they arose.  The contractor was on site regularly, and supervised a top quality job.  His crew and sub-contractors worked as a real team and were a real pleasure to be around.  The contractor and his team maintained a clean and orderly worksite-inside the house and outside. I expect to use EJC Construction Inc. in the future.
