THE CLEANING AUTHORITY

Please be aware that the advertised rotational cleaning system is a fraud and a joke. I used the company for 4 months and not one time did they detail the rooms on rotation as listed in their brochure. What they do however is half clean the rooms that aren't on rotation with a lot of nonsensical rules where the cleaners aren't allowed to move anything and can only clean around things. Even when the bathroom is on rotation, they're only allowed to move a certain number of items on the vanity. Yesterday was the worst customer service experience I have ever received in my life! They were due to arrive at 1pm and didn't arrive until 3:30pm. At 5pm they told me their time was up and they were leaving my house half cleaned. I've had back surgery and they left me with a dirty kitchen, dirty kitchen and bathroom floors and unemptied trash. I called the manager Morgan and she told me the owner would call me and he never did. This company does not have professional cleaners and they don't allow sufficient time for the house to be cleaned. Their cleaners don't know how to clean! I only stayed with them because I couldn't find a replacement. They are the worst cleaning company I've ever used. I've been using cleaners for over 20 years!

We have used Cleaning Authority for years and they have always done a great job. Never had any issues and very happy with the job they do. Malissa is professional, friendly and efficient - we could not be happier with everything she does for us!

They do an okay job but they are also not very expensive. They are inexpensive so I give price an A.

I used The Cleaning Authority for years. For the first few years it was wonderful as far as scheduling and time to arrive. I don't know what happened under new management or office clerk but it got to the point where they just were ignoring, arbitrarily ignoring my request to have a specific time every week. I have dogs and I need to know when the ladies would be there so I could get the dogs organized and out of their way. There were phone calls unreturned and it ended up that they angered me so much on the last showing up at the wrong time that I just hated doing it to the girls but said they weren't supposed to be here. I told them that I didn't mean to be rude to them and they lose their day but they need to tell whoever is in charge at the office that they can no longer consider me a customer. I was just so angry. The employees were very respectful and very nice people, honest, and I didn't mind having them in my home but this is not the way I handle things. I would tell my friends to definitely stay away from The Cleaning Authority. Their price was reasonable and they did an excellent job but they had a terrible lack of respect and responsibility toward their customer's needs. 

We have a two story colonial. The Cleaning Authority did an initial deep clean of the entire house on March 20 for approximately $169 then have done cleaning of specified rooms every two weeks since for $102. In the initial meeting, they reviewed the details of what will be cleaned in each visit and explained the rotation system they use. We have two rooms that are not part of the routine cleaning but any time we want them cleaned we can let them know. They gave us separate pricing for those rooms.

There is a standard day of the week that the cleaning is done and they always call the day before to provide a window of when the cleaning team will arrive. The cleaning is thorough and the girls always ask us to let them know if there is anything that is not done to our satisfaction and they will correct it. On one visit, an inspector showed up and checked the work of the cleaning team. She asked if there was anything they can do better and provided an inspection report. She pointed out a few things to the team that they took care of. The cleaning team works hard and is efficient. I would recommend the Cleaning Authority.

They are good, reliable and timely.  I would refer them to others.  I would use them again in the future.

They are coming again this morning.  I like them.  They do a good job.  The first two times they came out, they did whole house cleaning.  Now, every other week when they come out, they are just doing the main floor that we live on; that is $82 a week.  I really haven’t found anything that I dislike.  I know if I were disappointed with something, they would come back and fix it.  I am using them and would use them in the future.

They come very two weeks. They do a fine job. I have been using them for over two years. They are very friendly, bring their own vacuum and products.

I disliked them. For the amount of money, they did the bare bones minimum cleaning. They cleaned the kitchen and my sliding glass door had fingerprints all over it. I asked if there was a reason why they didn't Windex the back door while they were cleaning when they could really see that it needed it. They said they don't do windows. They are strict and if they say they don't do windows, they won't do them. If they are mopping and see something on the wall that is obvious, they will not do it. It is ridiculous for the amount of money; they will not do one thing that is not on the checklist. They do hotel-type service cleaning. They are in and out within an hour. They are making bank if they are making $130 an hour. I had to call 3 times to get someone to return my call. That should have been my first tip-off. They were punctual. I definitely will not use them again.

I got an estimate for an one time house cleaning, but I have not been able to schedule the service.  When I called to scheduled the cleaning, they said only do one-time house cleaning on Mon-Wed.   When I got the estimate, he said they could schedule me on a Friday if I called several weeks in advance.  Even though I told the person on the phone what the estimator told me,  they said it could not be done on a Friday.  There seems to be a communication problem between the estimator and the person that schedules the appointments.  

 I attempted one more time  to schedule a house cleaning for the day after a holiday (Tuesday), but I was told that one-time house cleaning can't be done on a holiday weekend. 

Crew showed up 20 minutes late for the cleaning after previously discussing what we wanted clean throughout the house. The crew was at the house for 3 hours and did agree to clean above our cabinets which we later found not to have been completed. After a further inspection of the house after they left we found they didn't clean many areas of our bathrooms including above the shower ledge, rods and baseboards. The crew also didn't do our baseboards in the hallway and kitchen. We called the inspector who supposedly checked our house after the initial cleaning to discuss these issues that were not completed. The crew did agree to come back to our house 3 days later and showed up with two very short employees one of which was the "inspector" who showed up at the house a few days earlier. After going over what they initially didn't complete we still found they didn't clean above the cabinets in the kitchen and their response was their "woolly" didn't reach that high and they can't go above one step on a step stool for "legality reasons". The crew didn't suggest that I clean above the cabinets and they can clean the residual dust that fell after I cleaned the area. The lime deposit was also not cleaned which I was told we had to provide the cleaner for the deposit. If I had known this ahead of time I would have PROVIDED the cleaner. Seems very disapointing we had the house cleaned and still have areas which are dirty. If we would have been aware of the flat foot single step woolly reach policy, we would have had more questions, like how tall are your cleaners, and how long is your woolly They are also not allowed to clean the top of the kitchen cabinet doors, because they are not allowed to open the cab doors... Theprice would have been fair, if they would have done a better job cleaning.

They are a national franchise and they have a rotation that they use to clean a different area of your home each time they come. I plan to continue using them in the future.

We have a yearly contract with the CA. They call the day before to remind us and also to give an approximate time of arrival. The teams are always prompt and work quickly. Mike or Lynn does periodic spot checks without warning to make sure the teams are doing the job well.

They cleaned our home for a few months. The price was reasonable. One of his employees broke a picture that meant much to my husband. They told us to look for a replacement. The only replacement that was of the same quality was $800. This was much more than the one we had. The owner was rude and basically accused us of lying. He went out on his own to replace it. What he offered us was sub par to say the least. When we finally got sick of trying to get this resolved with someone who did not want to replace it with an item of similar quality. We accepted the offer of a sub par item and $30. We then got a letter saying they would no longer be able to clean our home. If all goes well, this company is okay. As soon as something goes wrong, watch out. You will not have a satisfactory outcome. I have never dealt with a company so ignorant to good customer service. We understood that we would not get exactly what we had. We never expected to be treated like we broke the picture.

AT FIRST MIKE WAS VERY LIKABLE AND FRIENDLY. HE ASSURED ME THAT HIS STAFF WAS WELL TRAINED AND RELIABLE. AS IT TURNED OUT, THEIR CLEANING SKILLS WERE NOT VERY GOOD AND THEY WERE CARELESS. MIKE'S CHANGE IN HIS DEMEANOR SHOWED HIS TRUE COLORS. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SERVICE TO ANYONE.

GOOD WORK. MIKE WAS PROFESSIONAL AND PROMPT IN HIS CONTACTS.

THE CLEANING AUTHORITY ALWAYS CAME WHEN EXPECTED. FRIDAYS THEY WERE RUSHED AND DIDN'T STAY AS LONG AS EXPECTED. ANOTHER DAY MAY BE BETTER.
