MJM Remodeling Matt Mahon

During the planning stages of the job, Mr. Mahon gathered a dishonest HVAC company (salesman lied to me several times of specifics of the equipment to be installed and told me that he could personally smell an odorless, harmful, potentially fatal gas leak in my garage furnace and recommended replacement/repair of my furnace (no gas leak was ultimately present)) and a plumber that gave me an estimate for a drain placement well over the initial $38,000 estimate.  I declined both estimates provided by these two companies and requested alternative methods to complete the job.  At this point, Mr. Mahon was in possession of $33,000 of my money.  He then walked away from the job WITHOUT reimbursing me the difference of the amount of money, essentially robbing me of $22,000 and leaving me with an unfinished mess of a garage.  He attempted to bully me into signing a letter that "buttoned-up" the job, to which I refused.  I have given him several weeks to reimburse me and he is ignoring all requests.
