Ryan Librich, doing business as Librich Landscapes, gave me a price (and I accepted) of $310 in early December 2012 to trim small trees and bushes in my yard.  He also gave me a price of $480 to plant 2 new sand cherries, 4 forsythias and transplant other bushes as well as $500 to $700 to plant pachysandra.  Librich indicated the best time to do the work was in winter.   Upon his request, I gave him $700 on January 31, 2013 downpayment on the work.  He performed the trim work in early February 2013 but, for 3 months I attempted to contact him regarding the $390 worth of additional work for which I had paid him.  He wouldn't return my calls or he would set a date to arrive and then not appear to do the work, while I consistently missed days of work waiting for him and his crew. I finally gave him a deadline to return my $390 for the work he failed to perform but he did not respond.  I filed a lawsuit against him on May 7, 2013.  The hearing is set for June 25, 2013.  (A local nursery who had originally recommended him to me told me they were not longer recommending him because of other complaints received against him and his company.)

An update on the previous narrative is the following:  Librich did not appear at the June 25, 2013 hearing and so I won a default judgement against him in the approximate amount of $390 plus court costs.  The defendant provider did not appeal the judgement and so I recorded the judgement at the local recorder's office.  However, Librich did not pay on the judgement.  As a result, I filed for a writ garnishment against his business bank account and a writ of repossession of his business equipment.  His bank account did not have sufficient funds but the sheriff's office, after several weeks of the defendant attempting to avoid the deputy sheriff, was successful in locating and confiscating enough business equipment to satisfy BOTH the judgement AND all original and additional court costs. The defendant immediately paid off the his debt to regain his equipment.  

They're pretty reliable. They did the work and I was satisfied. They were good and on time.

Project went very well. Scheduled for end of season and kept in touch with Ryan periodically. As the project date neared they needed to bump us a week but it didn't affect the quality of the work once it was completed.

The maintenance has been done thoroughly and promptly.  They come and evaluate the lawn prior to cutting due to all the rain.

They did an excellent job. Quality of the shrubbery was (and is) excellent. Installation was done relatively quickly with minimal delay. Quality of installation was also excellent.

The price varies based on the snow fall and they bill me monthly. They come out numerous times since sometimes we have a lot of snow. They are good, reliable and dependable. They do a good job. They are fairly priced. I will use them again in this winter. I would definitely use their services in the future too.

He charges us for the lawn on a weekly basis. The other job would be about $550.00. We learned by mistakes. We had a guy who would give us bills for the summer in December. Sometimes they wouldn't come and they would bill me for it. Librich gets his bills to us promptly. I have been very pleased with him. He is a very nice man. The last billing they billed for a week when they weren't here. He looked on his computer and told me that he didn't know why they billed us. He didn't fight with me on that. The price is fine. I am at the point now that if they do a good job I am happy. It does seem like a reasonable price.

This was the first time I had worked with this company. The proposals are wonderful as well as his help. Whenever I have a question he personally comes out to discuss it. The quality of work is far above average. He gives great advice on everything, and knows what he is talking about. I am very grateful that I found this company and will continue with his service for years to come. I have had other landscapers that have taken me for a ride and have never felt this way with them.
