They have repaired mistakes made by other contractors and always do excellent work. They are on time and their price is the best we have seen

Description of Work: General construction and fire restoration work. Replaced attic insulation, windows, deck, siding and part of a fence. Debris cleanup following fire. The quality of the windows and siding work was fine and the attic work was average - boards that were removed to replace the siding were not screwed back down consistently, plants were ruined beyond what was expected for normal work, additional damage seemed to mysteriously surface, issues with fence install (still unresolved). The major issue was the behavior of the owner and the billing. The owner seemed to feel that he was in control of the process and basically bullied the insurance company (the agent verified with several other adjusters that this is a consistent approach) and actually screamed at me at which point I told him to go speak to whomever he speaks to at home like that but he will not speak to me that way. Then the real fun began where I went through the billing and noted that I was billed for numerous items that were not done and overbilled for items they claimed involved bagging insulation and carrying it down 3 flights of stairs (unless they were putting it in the basement, this was impossible) and the reality is they did not of that since they cut a hole in the side wall of the attic and tossed it out the window into the bad of their truck. They didn't even fix the board below where they cut that they damaged in the process. The owner's wife told me that is what they told her so either their workers lie to them or she lied - either case, unacceptable, especially since she sent the same information to the insurance company and the adjuster was one phone call away from reporting it as fraud. I convinced the adjuster it was just a mistake but got nothing but grief from the owner's wife on the subject. Ultimately, I had to withhold a portion of the final payment to negotiate the coverage for the damage and found the whole process frustrating. It's a shame because it's a family business and the son and the guy who did the windows did nice work, but with the business practices as they are, I can only hope the business survives long enough for the son to take over. If you are someone who needs a contractor to fight with your insurance company to get your home repaired, this may be the one for you. In my case, he was creating more problems than he fixed.

Description of Work: Restoration job after water damage. Drywall, paint, complete new bathroom. Could not be happier with service, speed, quality, and price. Also very patient with many questions I had throughout the job

Description of Work: The services they have provided include boarding up our broken windows, torn off roof parts and holes in the siding; cutting out drywall and carpet that was damaged by water and treating to prevent mold; evaluating the electical power for safety and selectively restoring electricity to the house as appropriate. Once these remediation services were done, they returned to start repairing the home and getting us back to our normal lives. They resided most of the house, put on a new roof, replaced drywall and painted, repaired damaged plumbing, repaired a crushed set of ep henry paver stairs and patio, structurally reinforced areas as needed and so many other services I can't even begin to describe. Regardless of the service provided, the job was always done well.

The work included reroofing, re-siding, attic rebuilding, restoring two bedrooms (walls, ceiling, floors, electrical,) garage door, outside brick wall and wooden railing.
