Fast, timely, and correct

I received an diagnosis from another company stating that I needed to replace a valve. Bill found that the first diagnosis was incorrect. He immediately resolved my problem and saved me hundreds of dollars. I highly recommend this company.

Excellent! Bill Hadfield returned my telephone call the same day and promised to look at the job the next day. Bill showed the next day at the appointed time. He listened to all my concerns regarding the work that I wanted, took some measurements and said he would return with his estimate. Two days later, upon agreeing with the estimate and the work that was to be done, Bill said he could start the job the next day. Bill and associate John completed all work in the time frame agreed upon, all work was completed in a neat, clean, orderly fashion. I am very happy with the entire project, Bill has shown to be a highly knowledgeable and competent contractor.  

Excellent. My parents have used Hadfield in the past and recommended them. I had several estimates and they were the lowest with the best quality products. Bill came out immediately to do the estimate, and scheduled the work promptly. Job was done within a few days.

This installation was to finish the job on my new gas heater.  Bill had to wait until I had a chimney repair done and for the weather to break.  He was right on time at 8:00 am but my roof was wet and slippery from rain the night before.  He left his material and came back around noon when the sun was out and everything was dry.  The complete job took less than 2 hrs.  The job is totally complete now.

.I decided to replace my existing oil burner and add central air conditioning.  I got estimates from 2 Angie's List members and was looking for a third when my kitchen floor installer (an Angie's List member) recommended Bill Hadfield of Hadfield Brothers Heating and Air Conditioning.  I called Bill and he came over and looked at my situation.  He called the next day with a verbal estimate and followed up with a written estimate.  He was several thousand dollars cheaper than the other 2 companies who are both large companies.  Bill had mentioned a mutual friend that he had done work for, so I asked the friend about his work.  My friend said the work was excellent and that he would use Hadfield again.  When I decided to convert to natural gas I called Bill and told him I wanted to use him for the work.  He suggested, since my oil burner was working fine to burn as much fuel out of the tank as possible and then do the conversion.  I agreed.  However, my furnace disagreed and died on Sunday and could not be fixed.  I called Bill on Monday and explained the situation and he said he would be out on Tuesday morning at 8:30 to start the job.  He and his helper John were right on time and completed the heater install on Wednesday 11/16/2011 including all the duct work that was needed.  They will finish installing the air conditioning on Friday 11/18/2011.  When Bill and John came into the house they began laying down tarps on all the floors where they would have to walk and also covered counters and appliances that might get dirty.  They were quick, efficient and very knowledgeable about what they were doing.  I would definitely use Hadfield Brothers again.
