Joe Ross tells me right up front that pricing has gone up from last years quotes that I had previously received. Last year he told me $2700 for complete job. He wanted payment by check immediately so I went in the house to get my checkbook and he was following me from the kitchen to the bedroom. He wanted $2600 for the job and an extra $1000 for his workers. He promised me he would be back the following Tuesday and he said it would take a week and be done the following Tues. I haven't seen or heard from him since. One of his guys called me last Monday saying that he would get and send a certified check for the $2600 and it is now Friday and I haven't received refund. I have called him twice, he has not returned my calls. I gave him the check on the 14th of August and told him not to cash it until Monday the 18th. He ran to the Glen Rock bank and cashed it. I am still waiting....
Description of Work: I hired him to make me a front sidewalk and add another sidewalk from the deck.
