Our AC on our Honda CRV went out.
We took it to Mr. Cain. He found the problem, which would have cost about $800 to repair.
He also found there was a service bulletin on the problem that extended the warranty to 100,000 miles on this problem.
He told us to go to the Honda dealer to get it fixed for FREE. He only charged $49 for the work he did taking it apart to find the problem. That was sure worth it to save $750!
He could have just fixed it and made himself some money and we would never have known,
This is the best kind of ethical behavior. I can't imagine what made him take the extra step to look for a service bulletin, but I am glad that he did.

They have a really good mechanic. They have a good price. I highly recommend them.

For the car to pass State inspection Todd - the owner, suggested parts replacement. Since a mechanic has you over a barrel here in the great State of PA, I had to agree, having been his client for 6 years. He charged me more than $800 for parts and labor.
Later, when I compared the price of parts charged on my bill, to prices on NAPA Parts Internet site, from where Todd had acquired the parts, I realized that he had charged me around 90% to over 100% extra for each part.
Todd used to run an honest place but his moving to this present shop site has affected his honesty.
I will never deal with his store anymore.

We have been using their services for the last six years. He said that it would cost $2000 to replace the sensors and he didn't think that it was worth it, so we ended up getting another car. He is very honest and very ethical and that is one of the things that we really appreciate. I would definitely recommend them to others.

They do a great job. They are the only place we take our vehicles to. Their prices are good, they do good work and they treat the customers well.

They figured out what the problem was an repaired it. Unless it’s absolutely dealer-related, like a recall, I haven’t taken my vehicle anywhere else for years. They are reasonably priced. His basic standard is if he wouldn’t let one of his family members drive it out, he won't let it go out the door. They're the only ones I will use.

The power steering on our van went out. We took it to Todd to diagnose. He determined the power steering pump was not working. Todd ordered a replacement pump from a local supplier and installed it. When the test drove the vehicle, he was not pleased with the performance of this replacement part. He phoned us and informed us of the issue; he determined the output of this pump was too low and did not provide adequate power steering system. He suggested that we haven't replaced the pump again with an original Honda part. He did not charge us labor for having to replace the pump a second time. We had also been having some vibration when braking. The brake rotors needed to be resurfaced. Todd did this without charge because of the inconvenience we had with the power steering pump. (We had to leave the car with him for a second day in order to have the power steering pump replaced a second time). He has done the work for us in the past; it is always done a great job at a good price. Cain and Sons Automotive also have the best deal I have found in the area for the Pennsylvania state vehicle and emissions inspection doing both inspections for under $40.00.
