They were efficient and knew their stuff!

Drive seemed ok till this week, when weeds began growing in the middle of it. I’d love to send a picture— it obviously is not installed right— it is less than a year old The drain was never right. I had to pay a company $2600 additional to replace do it

We hired this contractor based on Angi's reviews thinking that they would do a great job. But it turns out that just after a year and half the concrete has developed crack across the surface and also multiple chips in few places. One chip is big enough not to be ignored. I requested the guy to help with repair of the crack and he is saying that he will not take care of it as it is out of warranty. We are just six months out of warranty. He has ripped me off with such a large repair cost and as per his words (pictures of his text messages attached) - if it lasted one and half year it is terrific and I want to tell him that if concrete repair falls apart in this short time then it is terrible. You will also find in messages telling me that there could be water stream underneath. There cannot be such thing as we live in a community and no water stream in our area and he is making this up on the fly. In fact he is not even acknowledging his invoice. Before you buy his service please do read this review. I have added pictures for you all to see how lousy job he has done at our place. I still need to carry on the fight so that my issue is taken care of but you should not get into such situation to leaving this helpful review.

I would not recommend them. I was really disappointed because he didn`t call me back after our conversation on sept 30. He didn`t call me back after I left 3 messages. I need to look for another contractor to do the project.

It went without a hitch! JR and Joe were responsive, timely, personable, informative, eager to please, flexible in adjusting to our schedule and preferences. Crew was polite and conscientious about cleanup. All aspects of work were very high quality.

The works went very well. They gave me a competitive price and completed the work as promised, on time and very well. Happy to recommend them for similar work.

JR was very responsive and answered all the questions. The crew did a good job and actually ended up doing a bit more than agreed and JR charged me only $150 extra. 2 things needed to be corrected and after chasing his son a bit, after finally contacting JR, they were quickly fixed. all-in-all good experience for a fair price. JR seemed like a straight guy who runs a family business.

Joe and his team did a great job! They explained everything thoroughly and was patient with all of the questions that we had. They handled everything with the permit and the inspector and included the fee in our bill. They removed removed the damaged sidewalk blocks and apron and prepped everything for the inspector in less than a day. Day two was concrete pouring and driveway replacement. Everything looks great and I expect it all to last for years! I highly recommend them!

I spoke with JR numerous times on cell and he was extremely helpful and provided an unbeatable price for the amount of work that I needed. "I got 2 other quotes". His crew showed up just as expected and did an excellent job.

Work was performed to agreed specifications and follow up was handled expediently. There was a minor challenge that was handed by the owner satifactorily.

Joe stayed in constant touch with updates on our project. He sent photos as the work progressed & kept his word on the completion date. Great guy to work with.

JR and his crew did a great job on a tight street in Fairmount. Personable and diligent in getting the job done with quality and weren’t in a rush to get in and get out. They even helped calm a neighbor down. Would certainly hire again!

It went well. I am making this review only a week after completion. So, my hope is that the concrete floor will last forever basically. But, as far as their professionalism and what they charged for the project, I have no complaints at all. They could not get to the project right away because Philly is simply booming with construction business here in 2018. But, they kept me abreast at each point so that i knew when they would start and finish my job

Phenomenal. They were incredible. Very fair price. Very professional. Very thorough and very clean. I was very pleased.

They were busy with commercial work so I'm glad they found time for a residential job like mine. Can't rate price since I did not get other quotes recently. Quality looks very good. Was called and told to leave an 'A' review

They did a great clean job were done in one day quick and curious service his guys were professional this is the third time I used them and have been completely satisfied

Very well Joe called me to let me know he would be a little late because of traffic he was only 20 min. late which was fine. They did a great job took all debris away and worked in a timely manner. I would defiantly recommend them.

The work was done on time, professional and the drive is still in great condition 6 years later.

Job well done. Had my existing driveway reshaped and re-paved. The guys came out on a pretty quick turaround and fit my job in. Very well done and clean. Even put down topsoil in the area they took away.

One of the worst contractors I’ve ever dealt with. I found them from Angie’s List so this is my cautionary tale for anyone on here considering hiring them. JR came out personally to inspect the site early May 2016 to give us an estimate for a new driveway where a paved driveway had never been before. He claimed to have been in business for years, based in my township and he knew exactly what he was doing. Even though he personally inspected the property, when we received our estimate ($3500) there was nothing about a possible separate line item for a curb cut and nothing about us paying a permit fee. His assistant (Paul) said the work would be completed in 45 days or less - no mention of permits. Well, time goes on and we follow up with Paul repeatedly - they keep telling us to get ready, they’ll get to the work soon. Then excuse after excuse - May goes by, June goes by- then in July they tell us we have to apply for the permit. So we get the permit and then its August. They show up on Aug. 26 and township shows up and says we need a curb cut. Instead of apologizing for being wrong about the need for a curb cut or not providing that in the estimate and he’ll cover the cost, JR tells us either we pay $2500 more for a curb cut or his men were leaving after we waited for them all summer! I told him we didn’t have that kind of money ready. So we made a deal to pay a reduced cost of $2250 (I apparently convinced JR this was a crummy thing to do to us) after three months - so it should have been due on or around Nov. 26. I paid the $3500 original fee in full on-site and would pay the extra by November. JR’s son collected our payment on Aug. 26 and wrote “Owes $2250 - 3 months” on our paid invoice. Well suffice it to say, they did an lousy job with the curb cut (jagged edges, curb ended up at same or similar height as what it had been previously) and failed to inform us about basic care instructions (don’t park in one spot too long, don’t turn the tires in one spot or the driveway will be damaged). Then - and this is the absolute worst - the early morning of Sept. 23 - they called me and told me I had to immediately make payment even though JR told me I could have until November to pay the extra unexpected cost for the curb cut. They claimed I agreed to make installment payments on the phone with JR and I was past due. I never made that agreement. They emailed me - on that day Sept. 23 - with a fake payment schedule and notice of default and they told me that since I didn’t make the schedule of payments (that I was first hearing about on that day), they were - on Monday, the next business day - planning to file a lien! The fake payment schedule and notice of default also totaled an amount we didn’t owe and had never heard about - $2400. Then - like insane people - they drove to my house that day on Sept. 23 and taped the fake payment schedule I was seeing for the first time and notice of default on my front door. In any case, we told them to back off - basically everything stated above - then paid our bill over the next weeks - what we agreed to pay and no more - and moved on. We will never use this company again. This company was deceptive and unprofessional at the least. Their terrible customer service, rude attitude and harassment was beyond the pale. The deceptive billing in my case is something everyone should be warned of. As someone who found these folks and contacted them solely because of their good reviews on Angie’s List - buyer beware.

JR has been in the business a long time. He knew what he was doing. He was very responsive and his crew was excellent! They completed all the work we needed done in 2 1/2 days. We have gotten many compliments on our new driveway and concrete work. I would definitely hire them again.

Great done when told it was going to get done and answered all my questions

I spent a lot of time getting quotes and the cheaper but I think they weren't much different. They are a nice big company. I trust them so I pay a little bit higher price, but they were acceptable. They gave me good service. They gave me a three-year warranty. I think that's worth it. It looks okay. They gave me a three-year warranty. Every year they are going to come here to repeat the sealing. For three years I don't' have to worry I think that's good. Their responsiveness was good. I am going to refer them to my friends.
