Pollard Land Services was recommended to me by other people. I chose him for a couple of different reasons. The main reason being that he came out on Mother?s Day to take a look. He took his own time in the evening to come out and took a look. He told me that most of the people are going to come over and tell me to rip off my basement, but he was not going to tell me that. He looks at things differently. He offered to do above ground and not to rip off my basement. So, it was half a price of the other estimates that I thought. I had one problem later, I called him, he came right away and fixed it at no cost for me. He was very responsible. I think he did a good job. He firstly scheduled and then we had to reschedule, but he kept me informed all the time. I found him to be quite professional. He did a great job. He didn't come out and say the same exact thing as everyone else. He gave me some options that I wasn't expecting. I would use him in the future if needed.

I should have updated this 2 years ago, but just never did. But, I don't want people to choose this company based on my high rating, so I realized I better update. Months after the work was done, I was having some other work done in my basement. When that work was being done, it was discovered that the work on my sewer pipes as they went through my outside walls was really shoddy - so shoddy in fact that the sewer inspector agreed to come out while they came back and fixed their work. Even though they fixed it again, it was an argument to get them to fix at no expense to me. Sewer pipes are not something that I really want to put much thought into and with this company, they just kept rearing their ugly head over and over and over. I would not use this company again - ever! I do believe that Ken, the owner, would do good work - it's unfortunate that his staff doesn't work to the level that I believe he should expect.
