We had a bad window leak on two of the windows. Rob claimed it wasn't his fault even though they never leaked before. He refused to fix them. I would not use them. The installation was not good and they unprofessional when a problem arose.

It was absolutely perfect, they were on time, very clean, neat, professional and polite. The owner came to talk to us in person, and he was extremely helpful and working on us with financing. I would highly recommend this company.

Joe provided the initial consultation on June 14th. I was shown a sample window and given an estimate for replacing the living room, dining room, kitchen, and two back bedroom windows. A week later Rob Mato took the final measurements and at the time I was told it would take six weeks before the windows would be installed. Four weeks later I received a call the windows were ready for installation. Installation was scheduled for noon on July 26, 2018. If there is one word to describe the two young men who installed my windows it would be OUTSTANDING. They took great pains to make sure each window was installed and worked properly and the outsiide capping looks clean and neat. I paid extra and would recommend anyone thinking of replacing their windows to get the added foam insulation in the frames and meeting bars. I believe this will cut out or dramatically cut down on air coming in from the windows, especially in the winter.

Very pleased with my new door. The quote process was low pressure which I really appreciated after a previous quote from another company. The installation went smoothly. Door is working well and looks good.

When I contacted Rob today (3rd contact), I asked if we could schedule another appointment to come by to review and answer some questions as to how he would install the picture windows.  He left a return message, at a number that I did not request he call, saying that he was really busy but would look at his schedule but he said first I needed to leave him a message making sure that I wanted him to do the double hung windows as well.  I left him another message indicating that we only would like him to replace the four picture windows.  Hours later I received an email that said, "Please withdraw my company from consideration on the picture windows only suggestion.  This was quoted as a package deal."  I reviewed his written quote, and there was no mention what so ever, written or verbal, about an all or nothing deal, and quite the contrary he quoted the windows separately.
In addition to Rob's quote being a scam, the prices he quoted us for the double hung windows was $5000.00 higher than other quotes.  His overall professionalism was pathetic, with one example being that while he was at my house to give us the window estimate, he approached another contractor that was at my home who was installing a new fireplace and held a conversation with them about his need for his own new fireplace and asked them for their contact.
I would never recommend Rob Mato from Keystone Window due to the lack of professionalism, over priced, and most importantly he does not stand by his quotes.
Response from Keystone Window of Pennsylvania

"Meet this customer ONE time on 3/24/15 and she actually gave me, on a good day 10 minutes (she was so busy or I was a peon) and just showed me where the 17 windows were she wanted replaced. Most potential customers budget respectfully at least 30 minutes at a minimum for a quality appt.. Husband was not at home. Loyal fans reading this, that contact was 7 WEEKS AGO! Husband phoned me with a couple questions I believe 2-3 weeks after this initial visit. I emailed her pricing for 17 windows on 3/30/15 (that was 6 WEEKS AGO). This weeks she calls and wants to meet for Q&A on just 5 windows. I told her to please remove my company from consideration because the quote was a package deal for 17 windows not 5. Most quotes typically are only good for 30 days or ONE day from the high pressure windows companies out there. SHE THREATENED TO HARM MY COMPANY BY POSTING THIS IN HOPES TO HURT OUR REFERRALS! We will always be honest and a great local company to do business with. Nobody tells you the price up front like we do $399. Please read between the lines on this one. You have to wonder or ponder, with so many windows companies out there, why is this person so interested in harming us? Please call today for a 30 minute, no pressure, sales appointment with a very good vinyl window/energy star partner. Thank you."

A quick response was returned from my email. Called when he was going to be late for the appointment was only about seven minutes late. His presentation was excellent. he pointed out things about the windows that I didn't even noticed. He thoroughly explained about how the sunlight effects your windows. It was a close decision between this company and another company. My suggestion would be not to acquire about any other contractors the homeowner might be considering. Also I realize the important of knowing why someone didn't pick your company so you can change anything that was done wrong. However, I think it is just best to thank the customer for the opportunity and say perhaps you would use them in the future. This company has excellent reviews and I wouldn't rule out using them in the future.

Very professional and clean look to our house now.  We have all new windows.  The trim looks immaculate and the quality of these windows are amazing.  The heater rarely runs now and its so quiet outside!  As an added bonus, they came 2 weeks earlier than expected so we got the windows just in time for our new baby, who came home 2 days after they were finished.  Great timing!  Thank you Keystone Window!
Response from Keystone Window of Pennsylvania

"Thanks for selecting my company. We specialize in windows and our windows, workmanship, and honest up front pricing is unheard of in this industry. You will be much cooler this summer and much warmer this winter. Appreciate the opportunity."

Contacted Keystone via Angie's List messaging on 3/26/15.  Set up an appointment for Monday, 3/30 between 5-5:30 pm.  I was home from 4PM to 7PM and no one showed.  I didn't receive a call, email or text.  Nothing!  I waited until 9 PM Tuesday night and still I heard nothing from them so I sent them another message. They responded with "I had an emergency on an installation and that is my fault for not calling. No excuse for not calling at some point. I can actually say this has never happened before. Sorry for the inconvenience."   Nice apology but it came too late.  I'll take my business elsewhere.

Initially, installation appeared professional, with a quality window.  Within 8 months of installation, two of the windows leaked following snow and a thaw, causing damage to drywall and wood molding surrounding the window.  Contacted Keystone Windows to have the problem addressed, assuming it was an installation problem.  In the 8 years we have been the home prior to the new window installation, none of the windows ever leaked.  Rob, the listed owner of the company, came out, took some pictures, and indicated he would send it to his source who fixes such issues.
The following is the response I received:  "Spoke with James my installation manager late last night. Our windows are in compliance with our installation methods and caulked properly. He thinks it is a siding issue (i think window leaks above 2 windows in close to the same spot leans towards the siding too) and you should contact a local siding company. Your siding or j channel has failed is his guess. I would not tell them when you got new windows or that I reviewed this, just let them check it out. Make sure they will give you something in writing as to their findings before they come out so you can contact your insurance company (this is what I would tell them). If for some reason they tell you its the windows, we would need a detailed report as to the findings.I wish I could say its something we can visibly correct. It costs me "0" to correct issues if I found something."
Just because you can "visibly" see a problem with your installation, doesn't mean there isn't a problem.  Would not recommend this company for two reasons now, poor performance, and the unwillingness to stand behind their work.
Response from Keystone Window of Pennsylvania

"We had another installation crew that inspected this job Sunday 3/22/15 because of this filed negative review (I inspected 3/13/15). They confirmed as our original inspection did, "the windows and capping are installed and sealed correctly". I sent an email to this customer 3/23/15 in the late morning with a picture of what might be wrong with her siding, as we are not a siding/roofing company, we are a window company. Our crew caulked an area where there was a gap between her siding and J Channel in hopes of maybe this is where she has water issues. This really points to a siding issue when you have two windows above each other that leaked in almost the same spot (water runs south). We also suggested to her this could be "ice damming" which is common in the insurance industry when water comes into a house since this leaked only "1" time in in 8 months since we installed the windows. We have asked her to remove this negative complaint on 3/23/15 because it has no merit and she has not responded. I told her on 3/17/15 via a email, to get a SIDING company to review and she just wanted to file complaints against us instead of being proactive and take our much caring, and concerned advice."

Workers arrived on time both days and called ahead to let us know if they would be earlier or were held up to pick up supplies.  They worked straight through the day, which was very cold, in order to get the job done and keep the house as comfortable as possible.  Very professional the windows looked fine inside and out and cleaned up as well as they could.  Rob, the business owner, stopped by after job completion to inspect the work after the windows were installed to make sure that we and he were satisfied with the windows and workmanship.  We have other windows and doors we want to replace in the future and would definitely use Keystone Window again.

Rob, the business owner, came out and showed me my options for vinyl replacement windows. He very thorough but not pushy. His price was very fair and the installation was excellent.

I also replaced some windows in 2013, buying them myself at a big home improvement store and having a handyman/carpenter install them. For the same amount per window Rob gave me a better quality window and Jim the installer, did a much better job with the exterior capping and caulking. The new windows look great and my wife and I are very pleased.

I will definitely use Keystone again, as we are working our way around the house, replacing a few more each year until they are all done.

Everything went great. Mr. Mato initially came by to do an estimate and measure the windows. He explained everything very well. There were no surprises with the amount that was quoted.....we paid half up front and half when the windows were installed. James and Travis did the installation and were very efficient. They were right on time and very professional. I'm very happy with the windows....they look good, and I think it's made a difference in keeping the top floor of the house cooler. I would not hesitate to hire them again.

Very professional and meticulous work. Rob Mato, President, came to the house before the installation to measure the windows, show displays of available windows to purchase and provide some background on the company. A few weeks later, after the windows were made, Andre and Dimitri installed the windows over a 2 day period. They were very good workers and answered any questions I asked. They cleaned-up after each day. The windows are excellent.
I recommend Keystone to all who need new windows.

Rob (owner) came right out to provide the estimate.  Cherie kept me informed as to when the windows would be ready and we confirmed dates for the installation.  The Installer arrived right on schedule and worked diligently to replacing one window at a time until everything was done.  He then completed the capping on the outside.  The new windows look incredible and I'm excited that the house will not be drafty anymore in the winter!!

"We appreciate these comments and work hard every day to satisfy all customers. We offer a great value without the pressure most companies apply when they are in the home and will save you thousands of dollars. We will continue to offer the best value in the industry in hopes of getting lots of referrals and recommendations. If you have to buy that day "RUN" or if the offer is too good to be true, it probably is."
