This crew takes pride in their work. They are reliable, professional, and hard working. The results are great and when you happen to see them in passing, they are friendly and helpful.

James was very professional from the beginning. He responds immediately, shows up when he says he will, and all of the work that was done looks very nice. His prices are very reasonable as well. We will definitely call him again in the future.

James was very punctual, responsive, and worked with me to get the job done as quick as possible. Although the weather was not cooperating, James was able to squeeze me in when the rain finally stopped and the lawn had dried out a bit. I appreciated that James was hesitant to do the job while the yard was wet to prevent tearing up the lawn. That's considerate and not something you'll find in every yard care company. The results were better than expected. Our patio never looked so clean and neat, and it was hard to find any stray leaves/sticks that were missed. In other words, James and his crew did a fantastic job and we couldn't be happier. The price included both a spring clean-up and a tree stump removal, and we feel the price was more than fair for the results. I'd definitely recommend James and his company for any yard care job you may have.

It took a little while to schedule the work because it hasn't stopped raining all month, but once they contacted me to say the job would be done, it was done. They were on time the morning we were scheduled, the work was done quickly and efficiently, the team listened to all my questions and suggestions for the property. The garden hasn't looked this good since we moved in. Bushes are all trimmed, the old much was removed, new mulch was put down, and the edging on the garden is straight again.

Great! We don't have any complaints. They did a beautiful job and are reliable.

Very well. JKM finished within a few hours and had a good crew size and equipment needed to do the job.

They only do it in the summer for me. This year I wasn't as happy. But for the most part, they do do a pretty good job. If they take their time they're good. They're young guys and took over the business from their father. It's three brothers. They do a really good job.

James was great.  He worked with me to be able to accomplish what I wanted done within my price range.  When I hired him my front bushes we overgrown and totally neglected.  We agreed he would just do the worst ones (pricker bushes, really tall ones needing ladders to cut and those requiring chain saws), but he ended up doing them all and cleaned up all the trimmings too.  He arrived just when he said he would with his team of guys and they blew it out in a few hours.    Great overall experience, wouldn't change a thing.  Also, when I saw how great it looked I asked them to trim the lawn and they were able to accommodate that last minute add on with minimal charge. Couldn't be more pleased.

Our property had become very overgrown with weeds - the front, the sides and the back!  It had become so out of control, I wasn't able to muster the courage, strength or time to tackle the project myself!  I knew this job would be quite an investment because of the overall size of our property, the driveway access and the distance from front to back, not to mention the volume of stuff to do.  I had done some research online and was ready to hire another contractor, but I had some reservations about my decision, so I joined Angie's List and found James and JKM Lawncare.  I called James to inquire if he'd be interested in quoting my project.  He was very responsive - returned my call later that day, provided a reasonable and comparable quote promptly, and I contracted him to do the job.  My job was scheduled and James and the crew came as scheduled and got right to work.  They took down a small tree in a front bed, cleaned up the weeds and debris, clipped, pruned and shaped hedges and shrubs, edged and mulched.  The project took one half day and another full day for his crew to complete.  I had to work during the first day's service, so James sent me pictures of the progress.  He checked in by text before, during and after the project to follow-up.  The crew missed a few things on the second round of work, and when James followed up and learned of the omissions, he promptly scheduled a time to come to and resolve the open issues.  James also invoiced accurately and promptly online, and we were able to easily take care of the payments.  When all was said and done, my property of weed overgrowth had been tamed and is now beautified once again with James and his crew's help.  My family, my dogs, my neighbors and I are all very thankful - we can used the yard in peace once again!  I'm hopeful to use their services for fall cleanup, snow removal and next season's lawn and yard care.  James and JKM Lawncare are a great find!  We're all very appreciative - Thanks, James.    

On the scheduled day James arrived and went right to work. He actually came early but did the planting as not to disturb anyone.

Once he completed that task he went right to work and removed the tree down to the ground and put some new mulch over it so that it appears that the tree was never there. The flowers were all put in exactly where we wanted them and James remove all the pieces of the tree.

This is the second time I have used JKM for things other than cutting grass. As I stated in an earlier review one of the reasons I chose JKM was the fact that they were receptive to doing things other than cutting grass. (which they also do very well)

I am not disappointed I chose them and look forward to working with them for some time to come.

Here are the reasons I love JKM Lawn Care:

- James is extremely professional and responsive. We have padlocks on our fence, so James texts me ahead of time when they are coming to mow so that I can have the gate open. He is always available over text/phone/email to respond to my requests.

- They always accommodate our special requests -- such as, "we are having a party on sunday, can you be finished mowing the lawn before then?"

- The crew does a great job! The lawn always looks beautiful, including trimming around MANY things in our yard - slopes, fence line, gardens, trees, shed, stumps, dog agility equipment, etc. It's worth the price of having a lawn service because they do it faster and much, much better than we could do ourselves!

Have neglected my yard for several years and wanted to start to bring it back and I knew I would need help. Went to Angie's List and after reading the reviews of several Companies I decided on JKM. The reason was their A rating, they were local and also are willing to do other areas of work on a case by case basis. Based on some of the prior reviews in was apparent that this company was going to be easy to work with. In addition I was looking for someone that I could work with over the next several years to get my yard looking better. Someone dependable. Someone reasonable. I was not disappointed. On the day they agreed to start they showed up on time and got right to work. They worked hard and quickly. When they were done they walked around with me to make sure I was satisfied with their work. I was. I have a good feeling about working with James and his brother and the rest of his guys over the next several years and already have used them to cut my grass, trim and blow the sidewalks and driveway clean and they will cut my grass all year.

In the fall I intend to use them for fall clean up, leaves ,gutters etc.

JKM Lawn Care was very responsive and friendly. They can be reached by text message quickly. We had two yards of mulch delivered and we're happy with the quality, cost, and interactions. Will use in the future!

I have had an excellent experience each time I have used them. They work hard, do a great job, the workers are friendly and trustworthy, and the price is excellent.

They are prompt, easy to deal with. We are very  pleased with the work. Wish  this team the best,  they should be quite successful.

I've used JKM Lawn Care for fall clean up for the past two years. James always responds to promptly to my calls or emails and is very pleasant to work with.  James and his team do amazing work.  His team?s attention to detail always makes me regret that I live a little to far out his service area for weekly lawn maintenance. I keep trying to talk him into it but haven?t had much luck so far.  :-) 
I strongly echo other customer reviews. You will have a constant smile on your face if you hire JKM Lawn Care to work on your
property.  I know I will continue to hire them to do spring and fall cleanups.

My husband and I had been looking for a service to remove snow from our driveway.  Most companies and services we looked to wanted to deal with the "commercial accounts" ONLY.

I went to Angie's list to see if I'd have better luck and came across JKM Lawncare in Norristown, PA.

I called and spoke to James Hoult.  He was personable, friendly, respectful honest and told me that his was a "family- owned" and operated business - which appeals to my husband and I as we like to support these types of businesses.

The FIRST time they were to work for us was the TRUEST possible test!  The day of the worst storm we've seen this season -- Thursday, March 5, 2015!!!  

I had to work & my husband was home when they arrived.  We specified we needed them to come later & were both pleased they arrived "as we'd requested".  My husband noted that it was as if  "the troops showed up".  FOUR people came to do the job (to date, it had only been my husband and I - IF I was home to help him at all) and so it was SUCH a NICE surprise.  Our driveway is long and there is a "notch" for the purpose of parking two vehicles - For just the two of us, it had become overwhelming - Let alone if this task was left to JUST my husband! 

They were very efficient in every way.  My husband can be "very specific" about certain things he'd like done and HOW and they were fine with everything.  They not only did our driveway but they cleared the porch and steps leading to our front door, they also cleared the  walkway and steps leading to our sunroom!

I had the opportunity to speak to James by phone on several occasions and admire the fact that he is truly "family oriented" which is reflected in the quality of work they provide, the pride they take in it and the value they place in their customers and their customers needs.

Not only do I HIGHLY recommend this service, I look forward to a long, continued work relationship with them!

These guys are great. The team arrives weekly with all their equipment and in a short time they mow the lawn, trim the edges, cut back weeds and if needed trim a small hedge. I also have used them to do a more extensive project of cutting back several overgrown bushes and removing weeds from an unused section of the garden. I plan to have JKM care for my property again next season.
