Antique & Collectibles Bid Brd

I dropped off over 20 items for their Bid Board Auction. I had to wait for bidding to close and payments to be collected to get my percentage and the unsold items. It is nearly impossible to get them to e-mail you or call you back. I had to continually call to get a person to finally answer and find out when I could come up and collect. The information is not provided in the documentation they provide you or on their web site. I had left voice messages and e-mailed, only way to get a response is to call and have a person answer. When I picked up my check and my items, one item was not sold and not listed on the inventory. It happened to be a very old brass standing floor lamp. It was brass, had 3 candelabras and original finial. I asked about it, and the female owner hollered at her husband to look for it. Oh yes, they said they remembered it, but couldn't find it. Hubby did a very weak attempt looking through the back room at the Zern's location. Then the woman told me that it was in a store room and they didn't have time to look for it. She told me to come back. The next weekend, I called first, and she told me they didn't have time to look for it. I called again next weekend, she then got angry and told me they'd call me. I had explained from the beginning that I was moving out of state, and would not be able to come after June 15th as I was moving. This did not seem to register or matter to the woman. I got a very creepy feeling from them, and am sure I was ripped off, and the item was sold at one of their auctions at a profit of 100% for them. I could have pursued criminal charges of theft, as I had the receipt for dropping it off, they'd admitted they had it, but honestly with the move it was just one more thing I did not want to deal with. Needless to say they never called, I never got my lamp back or any compensation for it, and I felt completely taken by a pair of old time shysters.
