Not very professional

As a DirecTV reseller Al with Quantum installed the equipment and provisioned services.  He went above and beyond to provide an excellent installation experience.  He made sure you couldn't tell there is a cable running from the roof to the basement.  He also made sure all four TVs were functioning properly and could be controlled with the remotes.  I would recommend anyone considering satellite installation use this vendor instead of just signing up directly with the vendor!

I called and spoke to Al about getting Dish.  He explained the different options that I had.
I made the purchase, they came when they were scheduled and did a perfect job.  Did some extra work at no additional charge and with wiring looks perfect.  One of my neighbors saw the work and also used them for an installation.

After a horrific experience of dealing with Direct TV over a year ago--after they refused to put a ladder on our deck to reach our satellite and refused to find any solutions to help us as customers to receive the service we paid for (we randomly stopped receiving certain channels on our satellite)--we discontinued our satellite service. After a recent storm, our satellite was knocked to the side, creating a safety issue. Our experiences with Direct TV made us fear that no one would dare get on our roof to remove it.
Fortunately for us Al at Quantum Installations saved the day. Within 48 hours of my first contact, the satellite was removed without issue. He even advised us on what roof repairs may be necessary because of the prior shoddy installation. Thanks again!

Alan was very professional and courtesy. made sure all television were working before leaving. It takes a lot to keep a business growing and you can tell that Alan knows what it takes! Would recommend his company to anyone who needs services. Also is very upfront with how the business works and can also sell you satellite television service if you are unhappy with the cable company.

Al himself did the work. Comcast which provides our cable/phone service was not able to solve the problem, or didn't want to put the effort in. Al analyzed the situation, isolated the main source of the problem and re-directed the connections throughout our house so that all our phones work perfectly now and we know which outlets are capable of two-line use. It took him about 5 hours of running up and down from the basement to the third floor and he was simply excellent and professional throughout the whole time. He gave us our promised Angies List discount of $25 and I thought the $350 he charged was a bargain considering our phones had been off-again on-again for several months to our frustration and our kids' disbelief. I endorse him and his service without reservation.

The guy who installed the dish was the greatest. If you got something higher than A, he deserves it. I recommend him to everyone. It is rare that you run into a service man that is so conscientious and so outstanding. He was very diligent and dependable. He follows up if I have a problem and called the dish people. He has a copy of the call that I make and then he'll call me and he'll either try to fix it over the phone and he'll come out himself. He is really excellent. I told other people about him, I even gave a couple of his cards I give out.

Al called me back after I left a message. We discussed exactly what was needed, cost, schedule, etc. He showed up right on time.I found him to be knowledgeable, patient in explaining things, honest and very very helpful. I needed an antenna mounted on the roof and cabled to all 3 tv's. He did a perfect job, cost was based on the fact he didnt need to cable to each TV he was able to utilize what was left from a prior satellite hookup. He even lugged a very heavy old TV I wanted to get rid of down from the 3rd floor to the 1st for me. He didnt have to do that. He was simply great. I highly recommend him and his company. No more cable/STV bill!!!

Even though I called in off hours, their call-back was almost immediate. He was there the next day and took care of the problem quickly. He was very professional. I use him again.

I would not hesitate to use Al again, he was right on time, always responsive to questions I had leading up to the installation, and did a great job. I was really impressed that he took time to check my address and the signals for Over-the-air digital broadcasts at my location and give me a breakdown of what channels I could get and which antenna would be best - and that was all just for the estimate he gave me. I knew then he would do a good job, and he did. I have no complaints, I now have all the local channels in HD for free and am very happy to get rid of cable for good.

We own a small business and we were not able to accept any inbound phone calls and were only able to make outbound calls periodically. Verizon came out to our building and said they could assess the damage and the source of the problem for $55 for every 15 minutes after a one time $150 charge to show up. This was an emergency as it is critical for us to receive phone calls from existing and potential customers. Al was very responsive in offering to come out to the building that same evening and meet me to attempt to resolve the problem. After assessing our system and doing some troubleshooting he was able to diagnose the issue and provide a simple solution to the problem. In addition, he called me back to correct the original charge on his own because he forgot to provide a discount for using Angie's List. He was very enjoyable to work with, timely and responsive, and seemed to know his business (from my laypersons perspective). He will be my first call the next time I have phone system issues.
