Took my '05 Tacoma into Jeff as it was slipping gears. I was worried that I would need a new transmission. The Tacoma has a sealed engine and it's a pain to check fluid levels. Jeff ran some quick diagnostics, determined that the engine had been leaking transmission fluid, fixed the leak and had me up and running in a day. Jeff is very professional, experienced and honest. A good guy to go to when you need transmission work.

Work done in reasonable time period (week and half).
Price seemed very reasonable compared to Audi Dealer estimate.

Transmission failed on my suv. I had vehicle towed to nearby Dodge dealership. Quoted $5000 by them to replace transmission on vehicle 6 months out of warranty with only 50K miles. Had vehicle towed to Jeff. He felt that with such low mileage the transmission could be fixed rather than outright replaced, only most garages are not willing to do that dirty work. He promptly started the job and found it could be fixed. Total cost $2000, less than half of dealership estimate. Vehicle is now running like new.

2001 Mercury Sable transmission was completely non-functional. Transmission fluid had suddenly all leaked out. This was my daughter's car and neither of us had high hopes for a 2001 car with 120K miles. At the very least I suspected a main seal issue with an expensive repair to replace it or worst case, a transmission replacement. But Jeff provided expert service in a fair, honest and timely manner that had us back on the road quickly and very relieved that it hadn't been more serious. Based on past experience, I suspect a Ford dealership experience after bringing a non-functioning transmission in would have been much more painful.

I asked Jeff about Odyddsey and intermittent slipping (cold weather startup / 130K miles). He asked about car history and was very open to just draining and replacing the ATF. He also suggested a proprietary additive that I agreed to. Price was very reasonable and what was estimated. Not sure about hours (smaller shop), you should call to verify.
