It?s a small company; just an individual and his helpers. We contracted him towards the end of November, but I was going away for a couple of months. So, when I came back, there was snow and we had to wait to get the snow off the roof area he was working on. The price was about $3500. The price was pretty high, but I haven?t had work like that done for a while. So, I am sure it has increased a lot. He did the most beautiful job. I had other windows done by a window company. Window companies come in and they shut the windows down. There was a little bit of wood around my windows on the outside that I thought was starting to rot a little bit. So, that?s why I didn?t use a window company and I used a contractor. I asked him if he would replace the wood around my window, which he did. He had to install the windows and had to redo the trim around the windows. I have woodwork around my windows inside the house. So, he matched my other woodwork too and it?s beautiful. It?s nicer than my original woodwork. When you look at it from the side, you don?t see the walls and the windows. You see the woodwork frame on each window and he did that beautifully. I was really pleased. I had used his services once before as well and he was very good then too.
