My elderly mother's home is going up for sale and I needed a cleaning company to come and do some much needed cleaning on her empty house. Wow, what a difference the cleaning made. Hardwood floors, shining, baseboards back to new looking, kitchen cabinets and floors fresh and clean. Dust that had not been taken care of in years-gone! A bathtub that was filthy, looks new and shiny again. We also had them remove staples from the hardwood floors throughout the house, excellent job done. I highly recommend Extreme Housecleaning.

The two different teams I had were inconsistent and little attention to detail. Did not seem like they were trained or the company had any standards. They actually left one time with puddles of water all over my floors. I had to spend time cleaning what they missed every time. The owner is very unprofessional and her texts to me were rude at best. Not recommended.

I do believe they would be a great service to hire on a regular basis. But there were a few issues specific to my experience that explains the rating. I hired them for a 'move in/move out' deep clean - but I had already moved in. Everything they cleaned was amazing, they did a great job. They did miss an area that I remember specifically talking about. I know they had a job after mine, so I am guessing they ran out of time. After they left I realized one of the women plugged an air freshener into the wall in my bathroom incorrectly. All of the oil leaked onto the granite counter top. I notified them immediately and they responded indicating it was an accident and sent a link for a suggestion on how to clean it up. I spent the better part of 2 days treating the counter and eventually did get it to an acceptable state. The last communication I had with the service she did offer to come try to clean it up. I did not reply, but I have not heard from them since and at not point did they offer any kind of refund or even discounted future service for my hassle.

The people who did the actual cleaning were great. They informed me they had worked 1-1/2 hours, which was correct. The owner then charged me for 2 hours plus parking for the cleaners. She misrepresented herself as being someone who is familiar with cleaning in the downtown area. Because of the attitude and overcharging by the owner I will never use this company again.

"I'm glad you were happy with the cleaning. I didn't realize I had an attitude when I explained the charges, so I apologize for that. I am familiar with cleaning downtown and refuse jobs that seem like parking will be a hassle. I was told that the crew would be able to pull up to the building and unload supplies, then park in a nearby garage. One person could go in and start cleaning, while the other parks the car. Not possible. Our crew leader called me almost in tears because they had to walk blocks with all of our heavy equipment, since they couldn't stop anywhere near the building. So now we are paying two people for the time to walk all of the equipment there and back. 2 hours total. I did not charge for parking on top of that."

Today was their second visit and I had more cleaning to do in my house than before they came. A team of 2 cleaned a 12 room 4 both home in an hour!!!! IMPOSSIBLE!! I've had to do every room over. They use Liquid Gold...which is oil..on everything. Just used a dry mop on the floors that they claimed to have done and the dust cloth on it came back still dirty. I demanded my money back from the owner and she agreed to a refund. She asked if I'd like another crew to come here...OH, HELL NO!!!!!
