Deems Plumbing

He did an adequate job on the bathroom work; as for replacing the washer in the faucet, the cost (more than $200 - it was an "emergency" he said) did not sit well since he hadn't bothered to inform us that he regarded it as an "emergency" before coming. I will not call on him again.

I had two projects completed. 
1.  Moved plumbing in laundry room to accommodate a double washtub and stackable washer/dryer.  This involved running new gas lines and moving water and waste lines.   Ron offered good alternatives to our preconceived ideas of how to lay things out.  We went with his suggestions and are very pleased.  His work was very clean and professional looking. 
2. Installed new water service to replace existing well water.  Ron took care to walk through all the possible options ensuring we understood the pros/cons of each.  He worked with local authorities for all hookups.  We had one slight hiccup with the bid, but Ron was very professional in resolving the misunderstanding we had. 
Overall, I will happily use Ron Deems again.  His work is not the cheapest, but I would rather pay more knowing he is competent and appreciates quality workmanship.

Because the age and awkward position it was a problem.

Called Deems on a Sunday night, expecting to leave a message. Call was answered and service was scheduled for the next day. Prompt courteous and professional. It was not easy to access the leak, but they repaired no problem. Would use them again and recomment to others.

The job turned out to be a bigger job than I had thought. He always does a good job. He is very reasonable and fair. He comes out very quickly.

Mr. Deems met with us and after a thorough inspection of the current plumbing situation he gave us a complete checklist of everything that would be included in his estimate and everything that would not be included in his estimate. After agreeing to hire Deems Plumbing, the work was scheduled based on the weather conditions. It commenced within 2 weeks of the date of the estimate and was complete within 2 days. Not only did Mr. Deems handle the digging of the trench and the laying of the new pipe and subsequent connection of both the sewer line and the grey water line, he also scheduled the final cleaning of the septic tanks with our regular service provider so that the work fit into the timeline of the current job.This portion of the job was billed separately by the other service provider and was not included in the estimate from Deems Plumbing. However this insured that we were not inconvenienced and were using the new sewer line by the end of the first day. On the second day, he finished the grading and replacement of topsoil on the trench line. All proper plumbing permits were handled by Mr. Deems. We were extremely pleased with the whole process from beginning to end.

FAST AND POLITE. TOLD ME UP FRONT IT WOULD BE MORE EXPENSIVE SINCE IT WAS ON A WEEKEND. GOT BACK TO ME AFTER THE JOB HAD BEEN COMPLETED.
