About us

We are a 32 year old family run business with several full time and part time employees. Our senior member is 86 and still going strong as an integral member of the actual work force. His son and daughter in law along with both children work in the business and our full time foreman has been with the company since 2005

Our main aspect of business is Mowing along with many other services. Fertilization, along with light excavation services, shrub trimming bed prep and mulch along with some tree and stump removal are also offered. Snow plowing and ice control in the Gettysburg area during winter. Emergency services include water/basement pumping and generators along with tree damage removal and cleanup

I love their service. They were jaunty on the spot, it was a crunch time. We were packing up for a move and setting up for a garage sale. The grass was supposed to be cut by a friend, but it wasn't done correctly. I called Sheppard's Groundskeeping, and in half an hour he was there with a crew with just 15 minutes notice. He was just like family! I wish I had them here in Pittsburgh too! They also provided excellent snow removal! In 2015 there was terrible snowstorm. I had contracted with them to keep the driveway and walkways cleared. They plowed the driveway clean from 3 feet of snow. They are a very good family business with excellent customer service! I wish I could bring them to Pittsburgh with me! You get what you pay for, and these guys are quality. I wish I could give them an A+!

They're fairly prompt and they clean up after themselves very well. They are also very friendly to deal with.
