Hi! I'm Rich Riordan, owner and operator of Riordan Construction Services. I was born and raised here in Gettysburg, PA. I have 20 years of experience in the trades. I have worked with builders in the Hamptons on Long Island, the Adirondacks in Upstate New York, and local builders right here in Gettysburg. Over the years I've worked with builders using a wide range of styles. I have also completed home inspection training with AHIT, one of the leading home inspection training companies in the country. This combination gives me a unique perspective in construction and remodeling. I am highly committed to and focused on quality. I hope to have the opportunity to demonstrate this to you. We met with Rich at the location after initial telephone contact and he contacted his painters to power wash and stain the deck. It was completed within several days. It looks beautiful. We wanted to get this big project done before fall and winter and didn't think we could do it ourselves. It was very fortunate to find Rick on Angie's list so that we could get this taken care of.

I recently submitted a review for the patio and deck built by Rich Riordan. After the fact, we decided to cut through a wall, and install an entry door for patio access. I again contracted with Rich; however, I wanted to perform some of the work myself. He was all for it, as he showed and explained all the techniques for this tricky project. The door looks great, and now we have easy access to the patio/deck he built. And, I learned quite a bit through Rich's skill and patience.

Rich Riordan is very personable, yet professional. His craftsmanship and engineering expertise are "top shelf" (a military term). The patio and deck are on a slope away from our house, so he had to overcome numerous engineering hurdles to accomplish the project. We are totally pleased with the results, and will be contracting with Rich shortly to install a new door to access the patio/porch.
