It was a little rocky, but overall I was pretty satisfied. He took the roofing job at a time when it was really urgent (leaking roof in dead of winter) and I had not been able to find a contractor after trying for months. There was some continued leakage after the job was done (around the chimney), but he fixed up the flashing and said it would be okay now. Then we hired him for interior work (mostly) to prepare the house for sale. This became a rather long drawn-out process, partly due to his other jobs, and also perhaps some disorganization on his part. Some of the painting was not done very well, and he kept forgetting things. But most of it got done eventually.
