Description of Work: Coldsmith put a new metal roof on my house and porch. The price was good and the workers were great. My only complaint is that it was difficult to get them to commit to a date when the work would be done.

+ -1 moreI got another estimate today for some other work and it is pretty high so I'm a little nervous about it. I am tempted to get another estimate just to see because it involves all the cladding of all of the exposed soffits and fascias of my garage area. It is to do the cladding with aluminum under the gutters because the wood rots with so much moisture. The estimate for the second job is $2,000 and it seems a little high but I don't know. They do good work and we used them a number of years ago for some basic repair work. He was very responsive and came right out. He was recommended by some other contractors.
Description of Work: I got an estimate from Coldsmith Roofing and I have contracted to have the work done.

+ -1 moreWonderful crew! Arrived timely, very neat. I paid the $600 in accordance with the original estimate even though the scope of the work was expanded when additional problems were discovered. I recommend them with 100% confidence that they will do a good job. Will use them again.
Description of Work: Flashing around the chimney removed and replaced. Sealed around the chimney with silicone. Removed some shingles and found deteriorated roofing. Removed damaged portions and replaced shingles.

Description of Work: No services were performed. I called this company is late May because of a leaking roof. I did receive a return call while on a business trip on June 1 and I provided my home number at that time for them to call and make an appointment to come out and look at the problem, but now more then two weeks later, I haven't received a follow-up call.

+ 0 moreOverall, an excellent experience throughout the entire experience. The initial estimate was delivered in a very timely manner. Preparation of the final contract was expeditious. During the entire installation the Coldsmith Roofing Inc. workman were timely, efficient, skilled, and courteous throughout the entire process. Installation was only delayed somewhat because of significant rainfall during the installation. The local building inspector commented on the quality of the work completed. The appearance of our house is like new! We are very satisfied with the contractor and would recommend Coldsmith Roofing Inc. to anyone.
Description of Work: Installed an Englert energy-saving metal roof on the entire house structure to include new gutters and downspouts. Replaced front porch roof posts and railings. Installed vinyl covering to external woodwork trim on attached 2 car garage.
