Description of Work: Replace a decorative gas fireplace insert with a 35K BTU unit with blower. The unit was installed correctly, on time and per the estimate. The owner followed-up approximately 2 weeks later to ensure I was happy with the unit. I highly recommend them.

Worked with Sam on negotiating a price - he was willing to drop to an even $5k if I installed the interface plate for the inlet/exhaust and had a place to mount / set the unit upon delivery. Dealer installation required by the manufacturer to validate the warranty. The price of the unit was the same between the few places available to purchase, but this dealer was willing to negotiate installation details with minimum specs to help make the sale. The install tech was knowledgeable and did good work, and did everything within reason to allow maximum flexibility of fireplace location (since the wall framing was not in place at the time). There was a 50% down payment to order the fireplace. It took a couple weeks for it to arrive and installation was scheduled rather quickly at that point. Although they were further away than another dealer, they were willing to work at making the sale (and they did). I have confidence that this company will be around for a while because of their products, sales and support. I liked the initiative and flexibility to work with me on this installation.
Description of Work: Purchase & installation of Empire Mantis Fireplace insert. This included extension of gas to unit location, inlet/exhaust piping, and initial assembly and startup of the unit.
