His workmanship was excellent as was his professionalism. He is a super nice guy.

Accommodating and if i need anything extra done he does at no cost. I wouldn't trade him for the world! Very religious but doesn't dump it on you, very respectable. Goes and volunteers his time to help for free and build houses for free. Good character. I trust him fully. He has a key to my house. Very reliable. He may do my job and someone else at that same time but that's fine it doesn't effect his work. He always very good about calling me. He hires and trains his workers himself. Anyone who is brought in by him is top notch. He helped my friend out who is not all the way financial stable and he gave her a great discount.

This project is the fifth time I have contracted with Billy Tynan. I am totally impressed with his abilities to create the living spaces to bring beauty and comfort to my old row home. I met Billy over 25 years ago when I was viewing a rental home that he had remodeled. I was so impressed with the beauty and quality of his work that I took his business card. 25 years or so later I called him to do an estimate for a project that no other contractor would touch ( it involved detaching part of my house from the adjacent attached home. ) Billy designed the addition ( from an open porch over a cistern and a primitive pantry (uninsulated ) to become a beautiful room with two skylights and side opening windows and a full glass door opening out to my garden area. He used the same footprint and reattached the finished house with a sided wall that replaced the neighbors' wire fence and gave them a finished look to their porch. He also improved their roof where it attached to mine. While tearing apart the original structures, he discovered that both beams were hollow and eaten with insects. He cleaned the area and built sturdy beams before continuing with the original project. He devised a way to fit a small but complete (with shower) bathroom in a part of the room with a heated ceiling fan , a corner sink and folding pocket door. He also had the basement rewired while adding electricity to the new area. From that first project I had him return through the years to redesign my front rooms,raise the ceiling, install engineered oak flooring. ,Install more cabinets in kitchen and add Alure flooring, rewire for ceiling fan, Build stairs and shelving in the basement, retread my stairwell to second floor with oak. Replace my roof and remove the chimney., Redesign my upstairs front room and middle room ( removed the wall, raised the ceiling, built barrier between my house and the two attached homes ( there was four feet of empty airspace extending over all four homes and inadequate roof supports) He built two ten foot closets and concealed the support joists, installed three 4x4 skylights, two ceiling fans, recessed lighting, including plant lights over the tops of the closets, beautiful wood paneling in ceiling and in the four feet of extra height obtained by raising the ceiling. Rewired entire room and built deep sills in windows to accommodate the new insulation (none existed previously), installed engineered oak flooring and framed all windows. Room color is lavender with natural stained wood. I am running out of projects to do but when I ever need anything done I will always contract with Billy Tynan. He is a man of many talents and skills. He is a pleasure to work with and is enthusiastic about his work . He has made my home a joy to live in.

This is the third time I have had him do work for me and I am totally satisfied. I will continue to use him and will recommend him to anyone who needs a reliable, knowledgeable, professional contractor. He is very knowledgable with lots of design ideas.
