1. Work was started in May of 2009. NINE months later (in the snow), Matthews still did not have a roof over the home yet !
We had to hire another Contractor to continue.
2. SEVEN months into the Project, Matthews wanted to nearly TRIPLE the amount of the Contract. There were a handfull of changes
amounting to less than $5,000.00, but far from TRIPLE-ing the amount.
3. We have a list of more than 30 things Matthews did wrong.....fixing those mistakes will cost over $100,000.00.
4. More could be said, but I haven't the time, since I am now doing the work on my own...hammer, saw, and reputable contractors.
5. We would have been better off to hire the Three Stooges !
6. AS FOR A "DON'T"....DON'T HIRE MATTHEWS EVER !...THAT IS OUR OPINION. IF YOU WANT TO LEARN FOR
YOURSELF, THEN YOU BETTER HAVE LOTS OF TIME TO WASTE, AND LOTS OF MONEY TO WASTE !
7. The worst score you can give here is an "F"....that's why I didn't give them a "Z" !
