Rome Bath Remodeling

Salesman scoffed at our estimate an asked inappropriate questions...how long are we here...why do the bathroom now? Maybe in this "area" we can get remodel at "that price". Very bad impression left.

The two gentlemen that showed up the few days to complete the project were incredible. They were very pleasant to deal with and even made an effort to keep the noise level down as much as they could, given we had a newborn in the house at the time. They brought me in at each phase to keep me updated as to how things were going and if they had any questions/concerns. They were also well-versed in keeping the resulting mess from demo and such to a minimal, which is saying something, given the bathroom was on my 2nd floor and they essentially had to walk the length of the house twice, between the 1st and 2nd floors to get to/from. The end result was nothing short of incredible. My only regret is that I must not have been clear enough with the guy who came out to give the estimate, take photos, and such, as my old wall sconces and mirror remain...and it would've been a nicety to have an overhead light in the new shower. Aside from that, I would say that while the end result is quite nice, the cost was much higher than anticipated. It was over $20k for the bathroom job, for an area roughly 5'x10' and granted the fixtures and countertop are very nice, it's still surprising. I base that on the fact that our kitchen was also remodeled around the same time. That is a space of around 12'x20' and we had all new plumbing, new cabinets, new flooring, and new lighting placed....at a cost just over $10k. So, just be prepared. Kitchens and bathrooms are the most expensive as is the common knowledge, but I was expecting the costs for my reno jobs to be swapped. I can still solidly recommend Rebath. Just be prepared for a potentially larger bill than you're expecting.

We stopped at Rebath's showroom and liked the displays they had set up, so we made an appointment to have a salesman stop by our home. He went over the entire process with us and showed us samples of the materials they would be using. After choosing what we wanted and agreeing on a price, everything was set to go. 

The installers arrived on time and went over all the details with me (materials and fixtures chosen, shower and grab bar placement, etc.) to insure everything would go smoothly. Everything in their path from the 1st floor to the 2nd story bath was covered with drop cloths and they began the work. The entire job was done in approximately 8 hrs. After all the tools and drop cloths were removed, everything was cleaned and vacuumed. 

I'm very pleased with the new bathtub- they did a great job and it looks fabulous!  Everyone involved from Rebath was professional and courteous, I would definitely recommend them.

 

Excellent prep work before job began so paint spray wouldn't go everywhere; professional work with great results and 15 yr warranty. The only negative thing I can say is they don't come back to remove the extensive materials used to avoid overspray..they also didn't re-apply caulk around tub and shower that they removed. Cost is expensive but they have cornered the market with no competition.

The service was wonderful! They cleaned up everything and it looks wonderful! And it only took a day and a half.

They came out and spent about 2 hours with us. They told us everything about the company and the product, went over all of the options with us, and then gave us the pricing at the very end. Depending on the options selected, it was going to cost between $7-9,000.00. They did offer a 10% discount if you decided to use them then and there.We decided not to use them because they were out of our price range.

We had Rebath tear out our bathtub walls and bathtub, put in new walls, and install a grey Shower stall with bench.The workers were good, punctual, and cleaned up after themselves. I don't know how maintenance will be because it's a spare bathroom and I only used it once just to try it out.
   I wouldn't get them again, because we can't afford it.   $8,000 and all we did over was the Shower!  That didn't include the lights (which we had to purchase and install on our own, plus the shower head.)
   The only thing I can say is it does look better than I anticipated, which was a pleasant surprise.
    I don't know about the quality since we haven't used the shower.

All white, clean, cleaned up after themselves, very polite personnel, friendly.  Date was actually earlier than 2011 and I can't remember the exact price, they were $300.00 less expensive than their competitors.

Everything went well.  The company was very responsive and had a salesman at the house within four hours of our call.  They also completed the work quickly, were very thorough, and were pleasant to deal with.  Ultimately, they did a great job and charged a very fair price.  In fact, their price was much less than other local companies.

It was all done in one day. They started exactly on time, finished exactly on time, and left everything completely clean.

The quality of the material was exceptional.  The installers were professional in all their work and were very respectful of our home.
The installers cleaned up after themselves and you would never know any remodeling was done except for the new walk-in shower.
Completed the job in one day as was stated and did follow through. Would use the company again.

The work was great! They were in and out in one day and completed everything! They even brought and laid down their own carpeting over mine for protection. They are so protective of your stuff and call you ahead of time to let you know what to take off the walls surrounding the bathroom. They called about four times to make sure my wife and I are very happy with the job. They are really good! You can even see their model set-ups in Home Depot. They told me any time if I have a problem to just call them. The crew works very well as a team and they clean everything up with them.

I had seen the adds on TV so I went online and filled out the contact form.  Within the day someone called back and set up a visit from their sales person.
The salesman showed up at the time agreed upon.  We showed him the bathroom where we wanted the new tub/shower to replace a large tub that we never used.  He asked questions about what we wanted and expected.  After discussing finance options, my wife and I decided to do it.  We placed a down payment and waited to get the call to set up the installation.
The day of installation the installer showed up and put down tarps so the rugs wouldn't get dirty, and got to work.  They started at about 8am and were finished by 2pm.  They asked a few general questions, but for the most part they were in the bathroom or the basement.  
The new bathtub/shower looks fantastic.  We love the look and are absolutely satisfied with the job.  
Now that the shower looks so nice, it makes the rest of the bathroom look shabby.  Guess we'll have to get that taken care of too, later!

Saw them at a home show and decided to have them come to my house because I loved the color selection ( not everything in white).  They called the next week and set a time to come to my home when both my husband and myself were available.  When he was at my home he was able to describe everything in detail of how it's done. Now my husband had told me before he arrived that we weren't buying anything that night.  He was able to answer all my husbands questions and it was my husband that wanted to buy that night!  When they redid the bathroom it took two days because we had some extra things done.  I must say it's
