They did such a wonderful design for my property new trees/ bushes. Dan was so insightful and did a wonderful job

This company does wonderful work and I have been usinf them for years without fail.

Pana landscaping claims they have been in business for 40 years. However, the owner Dan is only 20 and has limited knowledge of landscaping, etc. He wanted cash as he did not want to give Angi any money. I spent $3000 and after several requests got a vague receipt. He said plants were guaranteed but refused to give me the paperwork. The plants he bought were half dead and I had to buy my own. He said he applied weed killer and did not and bought out dead sod 3 times before he got it right. I am sorry I used him. He is deceptive, overpriced and has no eye for landscaping. His workers were good, but the only time I saw Dan was when he asked for money. There was no walk through until I complained. He is not honest. Has very little experience and I am sorry I used him and would never recommend. Even his brochure was fake as he is not capable of doing what he advertised. I filed a complaint with Angi as he was scamming them also

My experience wasn't a positive one .I first met Dan when he came over to give me an estimate. I told him that I wanted pet friendly turf installed. I asked him about the the layers of material that is installed before the turf. I specifically talked about the material that is used to prevent weeds from growing. He said he could do it. He made me feel comfortable because he had experience, After that he gave me an estimate of $1700 but if paid in cash, he brought it down to $1500. I told him ok but I was still checking around for estimates and that I would give him a call. Someone from Dan office called me a few times. Dan reached me around the 25th or 26th to inquire about the job.I gave him the ok, we confirmed the price and mad the appointment. He said he would be here on Tuesday (7/30) at 9am. On Tuesday Dan did not show up at 9am. He arrived at approximately 11:35a - -11:45a. He got started right away tilling the ground. When he was done he left his other worker by himself and he started the laying out the pieces of turf. I didn't questioned anything at time. I waited a little longer and I see that the turf was being installed. I saw several pieces laying on the ground that was laying over each other. I came out and talked to Dan. I told him that I was unhappy with what I was seeing. Specifically the overlapping of the turf and the multiple pieces. I went to Home Depot when I was doing my research to see what the turf looked like and felt like. Home Depot will cut the turf in the dimensions that you ask for. It would have been a large piece that would need to be cut. Dan's turf was nothing like that. But he assured me that he was using dog friendly turf from a nursery. We talked about the overlapping of the turf. I told him I didn not like the way it looked. I expected the seams to be pushed against one another almost looking like one piece. Dan explained that if the pile was higher I wouldn't see the seems and he said he would change it. I came back a little later and some areas looked good but other areas not so good. I pointed out a couple of areas that wasn't tacked down. I found an area where there was a nail but it didn't hold the down. The parameter of the area did not have any nails holding it down. I told him that my dog will pull it up the first days because some of the nails was showing and the gaps in the pieces. The job was finished, I paid Dan 1500 dollars that looked like something I could have done. I sent an email through the Angi app but I felt like I was not going to get an answer so I called Angi. To remedy this problem, I would like turf that was installed is pulled up the material that prevents the weeds from surfacing is put down, then the turf reinstalled with one large piece of turf.. I am sure that there will be a couple of areas that a specific piece will have to be cut because the area is not a true square. If they cannot do that, I would like a refund of of $750 which is half of what I paid since they only did the tilling.. Dan did tell me to call him if the turf started to life and he would come back and fix it. At this point I rather have someone come out that is more versed in installing turf.

The crew did a fine job coding my front yard. They delivered on their estimate in cost and final outcome. I'm very satisfied!

Dan left one guy on the job to do a full clean up of leaves, pulling out weeds and poison ivy of our large backyard and left him to do the job solo. When we expressed our concern, he stated, "did he say something to make you feel sorry for him?". Dan was unclear of the job Gus and I had originally agreed to prior to his arrival. He seemingly had an attitude anytime we asked him clarifying questions and to make sure the job was done right. He ended up bringing another guy to assist after realizing the amount of work needed. He packed up all his equipment in the truck without conducting a walk through with us to ensure the job was done right. His customer service is extremely subpar. I paid him cash and asked for an invoice of the work that was done on July 31st. I am still waiting. I do NOT recommend.
