- Called on Friday evening and they came on Saturday. They opened the drain in basement going out to septic tank (prior plumber was unable to remove the drain cover). They located the septic tank using a camera. They needed a backhoe to dig out the septic; they would have returned on Monday but heavy rain delayed them until Tuesday. They uncover the septic tanks and determined that there was break in the drain from the house to the septic. They replaced the line, installed collars on the two septic tanks being used by the main floor bathroom, located and uncovered the septic tank being used by the basement toilet (prior plumber said that the basement toilet was draining into yard).
Three men and the backhoe were here for over 5 hours on Tuesday, July 2, in addition to the time two men were here on Saturday. Although this was expensive, I am sure that the problem is resolved and that they probably charged less than many others would have charged.
