Cindy-- who usually takes care of my babies is awesome! When i get home from vacation, my house is cleaner than when I left. Robin, the owner, is excellent to deal with. Extremely responsive and so easy to schedule with (even last minute changes). They are fabulous!

Robin Croce is phenomenal! I have been a customer since 2004 and cannot praise her and her crew enough. With my work and meeting schedule, I need dependable service to help reduce my stress level on a regular basis.

She is available any and all seasons, holidays, treacherous weather conditions, etc. If I am working, vacationing or traveling for business purposes, I have peace of mind knowing that she is coming in/out of my house, picking up my mail, bringing the trash cans down the long driveway and taking care of my precious pet.

I trust her (and her employees) implicitly!

She has become a reliable friend and member of my family over the years.

We've been using For Love of Dogs now for one year.  Bought a puppy on a whim last year, then realized we needed some help with midday walking.  For Love of Dogs responded promptly to my call.  The came over to introduce themselves, meet our dog, and our family.  The've been walking our little dog ever since. After every walk, they leave a detailed note in a journal.  The owner is always easy to reach and very accommodating to schedule changes.  They're the best.

This was an excellent experience with Robin and Cindy. Their procedure is to 'interview' both the dog and owners to make sure it is a good fit. Everything worked out well. This enabled one of us to go on vacation while the other worked and was out of the home longer than what our dog was use to. Besides walking our dog they also let be known that there were people in the home to discourage anyone from thinking that the home was unoccupied for extended periods. The ladies also leave a journal describing what they did, what food and water was replaced and if the walk was "successful" (and bagged anything so that we can remain friends with our neighbors). This is something that we should have done long ago. The price was very reasonable, and we now have a known proven provider. Besides setting up a schedule, we can also arrange a "we may need you" visit by simply letting them know the day before. The ladies are great. Cannot go wrong with For Love of Dogs for caring for your important four footed family member.

I have been using Robin's services since 2001 and have nothing but high praise for her and her partner Lorrie. They have taken care of our dog since he was a puppy, and even though he has passed away, they continue to take care of my childrens dogs when we go away. They are very professional and attentive to the dogs and always do as we ask for any special requirements. I would highly recommend them for any pet sitting you may need.

Both Robin the owner and Karen, our Pet  sitter were professional and very knowledgeable about dog care.  I was put at ease immediately upon meeting Karen and watching her interact with my dog.  My dog is very barky and greets all new comers with loud long barking sessions.  This did not happen when Karen first met her, she took to Karen immediately, It was unbelievable and almost unheard of for my dog!  
Karen visited every afternoon for 11 days while we were away on vacation.  Upon my return I found daily notes from Karen on details of her visit; my dogs mood, water conditions, exercise provided, etc.  It was fun reading the daily notes one by one and seeing how well attended my dog had been.  My dog was in great spirits when I returned and had no lingering effects from my being away so long.   I was very pleased with their services and would use them again and highly recommend to others.

Karen pre visited our home to meet us and our dog. she was very informative and answered all our questions. Karen came on the day we needed her and did an excellent job of taking care of our dog. I was impressed that Karen left a note book that informed us of what she did with our pet during her visit.

They are wonderful and are flexible when we need them. If there is an emergency we can text them that morning and they can walk the dogs that afternoon. They spend about 45 minutes with the dogs; they feed them, walk them and then play with them.

It’s pretty much the same person, who comes out, and it’s usually one person for lunch and if I need a dinner walk it’s another person, but it’s always the same. They love them more than they love me. I don’t have to be at home for them to take the dogs for a walk. My neighbor used them for a long time, and when I got a dog I started using them.

When I first contacted this company, the owner came out to the house to introduce herself and the dog walker.  She brought pictures of all the dogs she walks and answered all of my questions.  At the time I interviewed with this company, I had interviewed several other dog walking companies and picked her on the spot, because of her professionalism and compassion for animals.  It's been three years now and still totally satsified with the service and also how flexible she is with changes to the schedule.

     Robin gave us an estimate of the hours she would spend with the dogs. She then left us a log of her visits. The dogs were happy and well-fed and watered when we returned.

I first contacted For Love of Dogs based on reviews on Angie's List, and now I have an ongoing relationship with them - I've used them twice so far and have two more sets of visits scheduled.
Robin, the owner, is wonderful - bright, personable and very friendly.  We scheduled a "get to know you" meeting and she stayed for over an hour to get to know me and the pets and to make sure I was comfortable with her.  It's apparent that she genuinely loves animals.  She left me with a brochure of contact info, rate sheet, copy of the contract, etc., and she was able to give me examples of times when she's had emergencies (sick pet, etc) to deal with and how she reacted - which really helped my comfort level.
I had the advantage of having my mom present to vet Robin's work with my pets, and the feedback has been nothing but positive.  Robin left behind a journal that she updates on each visit - short notes with updates about the weather, how the animals are doing, and what she did during her visit.
Scheduling-wise, Robin is very flexible.  She told me that she can even do a day's notice if I need to.  Generally I know what my travel schedule is in advance, so to date I've been able to give her at least a week's notice,but there are cases where I have clients that I can commute to - those trips tend to be scheduled on much shorter notice, and if I've got a long drive it's nice to know that I have the option of calling Robin in to take care of mealtimes.  The need for at least a day's notice comes from knowing what keys she needs to take with her when she goes out on her visits for the day, so I'm sure that if I called and asked her to just take my key with her all the time, she'd be able to fit me in at the last minute if I needed her to.
Robin's rates are per visit, and my original thought, before I had family volunteer to house-sit, was to have Robin come out four times a day.  I let Robin know of my intent to use her fairly frequently and my concerns that the cost would end up being untenable over time, and asked her if she'd be willing to work on pricing with me if it did turn out that I'd be using her as frequently as I anticipated.  She was receptive to the idea and we left it at that - until she gave me a discount on my last service without my asking for it.  So appreciated, especially since it turned out that I really only needed her for one visit a day.
I haven't done a lot of shopping around for petsitters - Robin was the first person I talked to and I was so happy with her that I stopped my search there - so I can't speak to how her pricing compares to other services.  But it's worth it to me to know that I'm able to leave my pets in familiar territory, in the hands of someone who knows what she's doing, loves animals, and is capable of making quick decisions in emergencies.  Supporting the small business of a women I genuinely like is an added bonus.
In all, highly recommended.  I plan on being a loyal customer for as long as I need a petsitter.  I absolutely trust Robin with my pets' wellbeing, with the keys to my house, and with a code for my security system.

We have been using For Love of Dogs for several years now. They do a fantastic job and I wouldn't think of asking anyone else to care for my dogs!

Robin and her crew walk my two dogs daily and visit them at my home when I'm out of town. They are the BEST. Spend lots of time and love on the dogs, are careful with the alarm system, leave me notes everyday as to the status of the animals (mood, who did her business, etc.) and the house (did one of the girls get in the trash or otherwise do something in the house?) When I've been out of town and had neighbors as well as the pros doing different things for the pets or house, Robin has been very accommodating in working with and communicating with them. Robin has been super-responsive with last-minute requests, both to cancel service and to add it. Most of all, she loves my dogs. I trust her implicitly with my house, my keys, my alarm code and my animals. I also had two cats that one of her employees cared for for many years. Just wonderful.

Robin has become an extended part of our family that we count on to care for our pets when we're away. We never have to worry about them when we're gone. She is accommodating, approachable, and kind. We trust her implicitly. Her pricing is fair, she is responsive, and she communicates with us effectively.

My peace of mind was worth every penny, as I knew my girls were in good hands.

She is wonderful and very accommodating. She will schedule an initial visit to understand what is needed of her and keeps updated records on vets, medicine or food needs, preferences, etc.
