We had previously received 3 estimates for this work; none of the other contractors really described what they would do, and some of them refused to work to our plan. From our first contact with Tim Fry from Edgewood / Terrace Residential, we had confidence that this was the right provider. He was clear, knowledgeable and patient with all our questions about all aspects of the planned work. His price was not the lowest we had received, but he worked with us to keep things within our budget.
The planned start date was deferred due to permit delays and the weather, but Tim always kept us informed of changes.
Once the work was underway, the team worked extremely hard without any breaks in schedule other than for the weather. Everything was managed so that materials turned up on time, and minor issues and changes needed were fully discussed with us and resolved quickly.
We are extremely pleased with the result, and have already received compliments from our neighbors. We are looking forward both to surrounding our new hardscape with plantings, and to enjoying time on our new patio. We have no hesitation in recommending Tim Fry and his team, and would certainly use them again.
