Jordan came out on an emergency call. A coupling that joined two of the water pipes failed and I was having water leaking from upstairs into my living room. When he came out, he was not very communicative. He did fix the problem, told me the charge got his payment and left. Since then I have contacted him multiple times requesting a receipt for the work performed. I need to submit an insurance claim. All of this occurred three weeks ago and I still have not gotten a receipt or an explanation of the work actually performed. Multiple attempts to get this taken care of and I have just been blown off. NO I do NOT recommend doing business with him.

I was concerned with the plumbing project being in a brand new part of the home. Jordan really knows his stuff. He took away all my concerns and really delivered a great job putting my mind at ease. He did such an excellent job! Everything went so well with absolutely no problems. He was able to install a lot of existing plumbing into new plumbing all up to code. He is just great! I would definitely recommend him and absolutely use him, again!

Jordan arrived promptly just an hour after I called. I told him about the situation and what the buyers inspector's were saying. He opened the trap in the basement and immediately told me it didn't look good. He said the trap was rotted out, pointing out black spots on the scope screen. He moved the scope farther down the line and cited some standing water in the line as an indication of a break somewhere in the line. He went a little farther and was able to show me what looked like a void on the video screen and he said "this is probably where your break is". Jordan promptly took some measurements and quoted me price of $10k to replace the trap in the basement floor and the piping to the street. I found a plumber that did the same work for over $6k less. My only mistake was I didn't have them scope the line first. Turns out after digging out the trap and the line. The only thing wrong with my sewer line was there was a slight belly in the line due to settling. No breaks, no roots, no excessive corrosion.....nothing. I suspect Jordan was showing me one of the bells at a joint. Must be a trick of the trade. bottom line: Maitz home services (the buyers inspector) tried to screw me. Jordan proprietor of JDL Plumbing did screw me. He tried exploit the situation and line his pockets. I'm just thankful he only got $250 from me.
