They did the work very quickly and very professionally. I have done business with this provider for several years and find them very accomadating.

My car was making a bad grinding noise in the front brakes. I took the car to Tires Plus where I've had both my cars serviced before. They did a full brake inspection and found the problem - inside pads were worn down completely. They repaired the brakes and rotors with the best brakes I've had on the car since the originals. I paid a little more than the last set of pads and rotors I had from another shop, but they've performed 100% better than the old brakes and will definitely last far longer. They even told me at the time that they use higher quality brakes and rotors, which is why the cost was a bit higher. Well worth the price and I respect that they don't low ball with inferior quality parts to entice customers. I was able to use coupons from their web site (you can use as many that apply to your service call, not just one!) and was out the door in a very reasonable time as I was waiting for the car. The guys manning the front desk are always courteous, friendly and knowledgable, and I've never been less than100% satisfied at the work performed and the quality of work. I can't recommend them enough, and will continue to take all my cars there for service.

I needed my oil changed under a tight schedule, and they accommodated my timing efficiently. And, I had them check my battery as there was significant corrosion around the terminals, and they performed a clean up and prevention service that they said would last about 6-9 months, perhaps eliminating the need to replace my battery at this time. It was inexpensive and appeared to be quite professional and effective. My thanks to the people that helped me and worked on my vehicle.

When I brought my daughter's 2002 Mazda Protege in, I had noticed the tire was splitting. I was told the tire could not be saved and I needed a brand new tire. I was told that an ordinary tire wouldn't do and that the ONLY tire I could get was a specialty tire made for this model car which was very expensive -- $93.99 and there was no choice. They did the job and I was charged the usual extras including new tire wheel balance parts and labor and rubber valve stem and I opted for road hazard warrnty. The total came to $103.81. The job took a decent amount of time as other customers were ahead of me. So I came in at 4:45 and was done by 6:05 or about an hour and a quarter. They were very nice and courteous.
LATER I learned from my son who owned the car previously that I was sold a bill of goods. RIGHT on the car on the inside of the driver's door was the specific tire for the car and it was THIRTY DOLLARS cheaper. I was lied to and deceived and told the ONLY tire for the car was a specialty one at a much higher price. I will NEVER go to TIRES PLUS again.

After looking at my car, they typed up a list of and quot;urgentand quot; needs that it needed, including a belt, rotors, brakes, a power steering pump and other parts for power steering. They told me that the power steering pump was leaking so badly that it would need to be replaced, and even after topping it up I'd only have and quot;a few hoursand quot; of fluid. When I balked at the price, the employee dropped lots of concerns about and quot;safetyand quot; and asked, and quot;do you have kids?and quot; before offering me a credit card payment plan.
Not willing to spend $1600 in repairs on an 11 year old car, I drove to my old mechanic (1/2 hour away) for a second opinion. The car did need the brakes, rotors and a belt. That amounted to $410. My mechanic found nothing wrong with the power steering. He said that even if a small leak showed up in a few days, it would be along a tube that is replaceable for under $200. In other words, they were trying to overcharge me by $1190 for repairs I didn't need. I suspect that being young a female may have had something to do with it. I am disgusted with their business model of taking advantage of people who come in for routine services by trying to frighten them into expensive repairs.

The new owner and his employees can come off as rude and condescending. The employees seem to take joy in putting down the previous owners which I really enjoyed working with.

I have my car there right now. They are the local outlet, and they are very good. I don't know about the national chain. They are extremely honest. I have a long experience with them. They are fantastic. I am very happy with them.

We have used Tires Plus in Flourtown for all our automotive needs for the past three years. We have a lot of trust in this company. Mostly, they do our routine maintenance (oil changes, regular servicing), but we have also bought tires from them, as well as had front and rear breaks changed. Since we bought our tires from them, every oil change also comes with a free tire rotation. We like them because the repairs are not too expensive, they don't try to upsell on things when you just can't afford it, and they offer very fast but reliable service. All of our repairs have been done "while you wait," and they are really good about explaining why something needs to be done now. They are also pretty good about telling you when something needs to be kept an eye on, but can wait to be fixed till the next service date. They explain what's wrong with your car in language you can understand, and show you the damaged or old part that needs to be replaced. No one ever likes going to the repair shop, but at least at Tires Plus we feel like we are getting fast economical service that is reliable and fairly priced. Can't beat it.

They are professional. They have blown me away. 2 of the technicians stayed late to fix my car so I could get it back sooner.

I have been going to them for 3 months. They are straight forward and responsive. When I tell them what my car is doing, they give me a straight answer of what might be wrong. The other reason I like them is because they will give me an estimate and even if it takes double the time to finish the work, they will stick to their quote. To me that is very important, to know what I will be paying for before the work is being done. The guys behind the counter seem to be very knowledgeable. I am a mechanic myself and I do not mind it in a shop when people let their tongues free to speak, it is part of the sign of a healthy shop. The service quality is good because they did what I asked them to do.

They didn't admit that the thing that broke was their fault. That's the only negative thing that has happened with them. Otherwise, we respect their work and they've always been reasonably priced. We've had other things repaired there with no problems.
