About us

In 2019, Oakford Home Furnishings began as a small, custom furniture workshop. Today, we are proud to have found our niche crafting custom shelving for residential and commercial projects. We use domestic and exotic woods obtained responsibly from local lumber suppliers whenever possible, and partner with One Tree Planted, so that each shelf sold plants a tree in an area of the world in need. While many of our most popular pre-configured product options are available for direct order on our site, we also encourage you to contact us directly to discuss your project needs. Shelving is rarely one size fits all!

What an amazing craftsman. I got a custom desk made. Sam worked with me to customize every aspect of the desk from custom hight, length, beveled front edge, custom headset holder and specifically the kind of different woods and finish that I wanted. He was in communication the whole time and worked hand in hand with me to deliver exactly what I wanted. I could be happier. I even got progress pictures as the desk started coming together. It was a great experience working with Sam. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone.

I love my new garden beds!!! I initially had just an idea of what I wanted to optimize growing space in my tiny backyard. I gave a rough concept overview to Sam and he immediately came back with great ideas that included computer-animated diagrams to help me visualize. Once the decision was made, Sam was flexible in working around my difficult schedule to get the work done when it was convenient for me. The finished product is better than I expected and perfectly suits my needs. I highly recommend consulting with Sam before getting into any wood-working project.
