This company is completely unprofessional. My husband and I chose them cause they were the cheaper option and found out the hard way that’s not always the best choice. When they came by for our scheduled date they left without ever talking to me to explain anything for after care. I have weeds sprouting up and they never came back for their construction cones. We have a 5 year warranty and when I called them up to discuss these issues on 3 different occasions I was told someone would come out and that never happened. I have never dealt with a more unprofessional company and I strongly urge no one to go there. My husband and I will definitely need the job re-done in the next couple of years. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THEM!

MJ Connolly did a great job on my driveway. I received another lower quote but decided to use MJ Connolly. There are two neighbors used their service and all gave them good reviews. I was debating but decided to use them since I can see how happy my neighbor were. I will recommend them if you need the driveway resurface.

Excellent job, from start to finish! The details: Mike Connolly came out to spec my job with me. I was very impressed with the 15-page list of references that he handed me and his 5-year warranty on their work. All the details Mike and I discussed were listed on his proposal. The date was set and they called me a few days in advance to confirm. Since it rained on that day, they called me early to reschedule. The work was just completed on Nov. 8, and I cannot say enough about the quality, punctuality, communication and professionalism of their work and work ethic. My driveway is very steep and he and his workers worked really hard. I remembered that there was a spot at the top of my driveway where water pooled after a rain and I came out and told Mike, he said he had noticed the grade was off and had already fixed that (!!). I asked Mike to put in a curb along the side of my driveway so rain wouldn't flood my neighbor's porch and Mike asked me to show him where and how long I wanted the curb, and he did it perfectly. The repaving took all day to complete and they came back the next day to put in the curb. When his workers had first arrived, I went out to discuss with them the details of the proposal to make sure they knew what I wanted done, but they already knew exactly! Again, I was very impressed. During the day I asked various workers some questions and everyone was both knowledgeable and extremely courteous, hard-working and friendly. When all was finished, they cleaned up perfectly (- some asphalt had gotten on my side steps, and they got it all off, too!) I cannot say enough good things about Mike and the job he did! Excellent, excellent! Finally, my neighbor and I had both needed our driveways repaved and we got several bids at the same time. We were both very impressed with Mike and his references and warranty and so we both hired him. My neighbor (who is not an Angie’s List member) has told me he is extremely pleased, too.

The work was supposed to be completed on October 19th so I cleared my day to be available to have the work completed. The contractor arrival time was moved from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. I was then notified at 3 p.m. the work would have to be completed the next day. Once the contractor arrived the following day, the work was performed .

It went great. This review is long overdue but I just noticed that my previous review was for the estimate service (which also went well). For the job itself, they did an excellent job and everyone at the company I interacted with was helpful and polite.

Very well. Showed up promptly and did a great job. Cleaned up afterwards also!

They were efficient and quick.  Showed up when they said they would.  Job was completed in a few days.

Crew was great! Worked non stop for four hours. Team of six functioned with precision. They cleaned up afterwards to my satisfaction and without asking. The company also was flexible to meet my short schedule and I thank them for their effort. References were great and reassuring as a home owner.

I shopped around and MJ Connolly had the best price, and since I used them for seal coat, I used them for resurfacing.  They came out in a very timely manor and the job was done almost perfectly.  The workers needed to use my hose, and during the process my hose got damaged (somehow the workers tools put a hole in the hose).  I new hose only cost $30 so I called Lynn (the owners wife and office manager) to ask about reimbursing me for the hose, and my phone calls were ignored and not returned.  I can not believe that a company would damage property and not take responsibility for it.  Fortunately it was only a $30 hose and not something extreme that would require legal action.
 

It went great. I compared prices and they were very reasonable. I was very pleased with their work.

Our sink hole was fixed.

They came and did a great job. I was happy with them and the owner was with them. He was also helping on the site. I would say it was a pretty good price because we looked around. All the men were very good.

Some additional cost but totally unresponsive to calls to office for questions on a problem which needs to be addressed.  Did not return my call to discuss having the new driveway resealed after one year.

They did a really good job with the actual paving, but there was a problem afterwards where the top of the drain, I don't remember if it cracked or maybe if someone had taken it, but there was a problem. I called and left a message. So, it was very soon after the work was done. I messaged and they never got back to me. Then, I called again and I talked to a woman who said, "Oh yeah, we're going to have someone for you". I called back like a lot of time passed and I called again, talked to them and they said they will contact me. I never heard back from them, and I just gave up. Since then, the top part of the drain with a hard plastic cracked, because it didn't have a top. So, I would say the work that they did was good, but I was not happy with follow-up. I would not recommend them again because of that.

The stuff that they did was good except they were bad, really bad on the follow-up. I didn't like the price.
